Report: Ex Dem Gov. Shows At Mitt Fundraiser In Va.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell introduced Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who in turn introduced Rep. Paul Ryan. But before McDonnell took the mic, another figure was acknowledging dignitaries in the crowd. Among those dignitaries addressed from the stage, was former Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder, according to a Tatler source who was there 

Wilder served as Virginia’s governor from 1990-1994. He has been sharply critical of Vice President Joe Biden’s comments at an Aug. 14 campaign rally in which he told a crowd of blacks that Republicans would  “put y’all back in chains”

Wilder has tweeted that “We are not African Americans — we are all Americans” and “Maybe voters won’t notice that this administration has lost hope and resists change”, according to PJM.
