Tidbit Of The Day

The man in Burning Man is really a woman. Burning Man is annual outdoor festival held in Nevada that draws thousands and ends with the burning of an effigy.

Co-creator Larry Harvey said the effigy was meant to symbolize his ex-girlfriend.

The Wife Of Jesus

The usual suspects — The New York Times and MSNBC — are citing a patch of 4th Century parchment identified by Karen L. King of the Harvard Divinity School  as an indication that Jesus had a wife.

The 4th Century is 300 years plus after the birth of Christ. To put it in perspective what the reporters are doing is no different than implying that  something that was written an hour ago is definitive about the life of William Penn.
Much of the stuff from the 4th Century was kicked out of the canon that we now know as the New Testament,  all of which can be sourced to the actual lifetimes of the Apostles.
And it is not as though Jesus never used a family reference in a non-literal sense.
Maybe New York Times reporters should stop looking for hidden knowledge and just become aware of the things that are in plain view.

Anti-Romney Vid Was Edited

The video that appeared to show Mitt Romney displaying a lack of concern for the needy has apparently been edited to make the GOP presidential contender look bad.

Breitbart.Com is reporting that Mother Jones, the leftist magazine that made the video public will not/can not release the full version as it had been challenged to do by the Romney campaign, and as it has promised that it would.
“According to the source, the recording device inadvertently turned off,” said David Corn, who is the magazine’s Washington bureau chief.  “The source noticed this quickly and turned it back one [sic]. The source estimates that one to two minutes, maybe less, of recording was missed.”
Inadvertently turned off. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
People, these people are bad news. They will lie and destroy the lives of others for political power and material gain. If you want to be a slave, support the people they support.
