Ignore Small Loud Progressives

Rush Limbaugh, last week, had a fascinating observation regarding the social pressure techniques mastered by the progressives that have many of us wondering why so often nonsensical ideas become policy and law at the expense of our freedom and lifestyles. Ignore Small Loud Progressives

“There is on Twitter this thing called StopRush, and it’s people attacking me and this program much the way Indiana is being attacked today, and whatever conservative institution was attacked yesterday,” he said. ” . . .It’s 10 people. We researched it. We know who the people are. We know where they live. Virtually 85 percent of all the so-called outrage e-mails and tweets are generated by 10 people, made to look as though they are thousands and thousands and thousands. It’s all fake. It’s all phony.”

But it gets worse.

“Let’s say there’s a mom-and-pop operation that wants to advertise on our station in Illinois, Chicago, WLS, and that local sponsor’s commercial is heard, and the next thing that proprietor knows, he’s got thousands and thousands of tweets threatening him, telling him defamatory things about me, lies and things totally made up about things I’ve supposedly said on the radio,” Rush noted.. “And the guy gets scared. We found out that not only are only 10 people behind this, but in the vast, I mean vast majority of cases, 90 percent of the tweets are coming from out of state.”

The people who do these things are wannabee tyrants. They won’t be swayed by truth or reasoned debated because they accept neither truth or reason. They don’t value decency, and compassion as we do. They are bullies. When we learn to stand up to them we will be much happier, freer, richer and stronger.

Apple Hypocrisy Saudi Expansion

Apple Hypocrisy Saudi Expansion
Hipster = Hypocrite

Apple CEO Tim Cook has called for a boycott of Indiana because of the state’s new religious freedom law which prevents business-owners from being compelled to participate in activities that violate their religious principles.

Meanwhile, as Examiner.com, notes, the company is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia.

Hypocrisy and hipster have more in common that just merely starting with H.

In a related matter rich, white, middle-age male MSNBC 1% Ed Schultz was so flummoxed  by Heritage Foundation’s Ryan Anderson’s reasonable explanation of the law  that he cut off his mic.

Schultz was calmly corrected by Anderson on numerous points when he tried to claim the law was something it was not.

As it is highly unlikely you saw it we will post it for you.

Religious Freedom Law Outrages Usual Suspects

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed  into law, March 26,  the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the usual suspects that bow before the altar of political correctness howled. Religious Freedom Law Outrages Usual Suspects

The White House said “it doesn’t seem like a step of equality and justice and liberty”.

The NCAA said it was “especially concerned”

The NBA also criticized it.

So what does this law do? It establishes a legal test for judges to use when deciding whether or not a government act goes too far in burdening someone’s exercise of religion.

Here is the text of the law which has generally been omitted from the media outrage.

The law is motivated by instances were religious business-owners were sued under anti-discrimination laws for being unwilling to espouse views praising homosexuality in violation of the tenets of their faith.

For those objecting to this law ask yourself if you would condemn a black baker for refusing to bake a cake for a KKK chapter that celebrated lynching. How about a gay caterer refusing to hang a sign saying “God hates gay” at a function for the Westboro Baptist Church?

Unfair discrimination is refusing to sell the kind of jelly doughnut just sold to the black guy to the gay guy next in line. It’s not refusing to make a special rainbow jelly doughnut for the gay guy.

For what it’s worth, Pennsylvania is among the 19 other states that have such a law. Kudos for us.

Google Evil Capitalist Or Just Avoid Google

Google evil capitalist and you won’t find Google. Google Evil Capitalist Or Just Avoid Google

But that should be no surprise as Google has apparently been skewing its searches for some time at the expense of its competitors.

The company that gives off a hip, anti-capitalist “Don’t Be Evil” vibe is unhip, capitalist and pretty evil, according to an investigation by  the Federal Trade Commission in 2012 that was  made public yesterday, March 19, by the Wall Street Journal.

The  FTC’s Bureau of Competition found evidence that Google deliberately demoted rivals and boosted its own services at the expense of local businesses (that would be the little guys), shopping websites, and travel websites by changing ranking criteria and  removing content from those sites.

The FTC bigwigs, however, decided not to sue Google saying that  while it posed  “real harm to consumers and to innovation” it “doesn’t violate the American antitrust laws.”

CNN Money speculates that the feds just thought it was  going to be a tough case.

We, however, will note without comment that the company’s billionaire principles Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Eric Schmidt are all huge donors to the Democrat Party and Barack Obama, with Schmidt actually being involved in the Obama administration.

We would suggest that one use for seraches DuckDuckGo, a scrappy Paoli-based company reputed for its respect of privacy, and Firefox in lieu of Chrome as one’s browser.

Penn State Invites Terrorist Ayers

Bill Ayers Penn State Invites Terrorist Ayers
Obama ally and mentor Bill Ayers showing his love for America. On Sept. 11, 2001. Really.

An unrepentant  terrorist is scheduled to be a paid panelist  tomorrow, March 20, at at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law.

The terrorist is Bill Ayers who bombed the New York City Police Department headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972. .

State Sen. Pro Tempore Joseph Scarnati (R-25) has written a letter objecting to Ayers appearance.

“The decision to allow Mr. Ayers to address your students and faculty in light of his violent past is difficult for me to reconcile,” Scarnati said.

It doesn’t matter Joe. It looks like Ayers is going to appear anyway.

Osama Bin Laden was unavailable.

We will note that bin Laden appears to have treated his women better.

Obama Loves America

Obama Loves America as much as Bill Ayers
Obama loves America every bit as much as does Bill Ayers (above) and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. This image of Ayers standing on the Stars and Stripes was used to illustrate a flattering New York Times Magazine article about how he didn’t regret setting bombs in his Weatherman days..

Former New York Mayor and 9/11  hero Rudy Guiliani told a crowd of  business leaders, Feb. 18, at the 21 Club in New York City that he doesn’t believe Obama loves America.

Oh, did heads spin. The bile boiled over on leftist blogs as progs came out in defense of their god. Rudy, himself, got death threats.

The Mayor didn’t back down, though, repeating his claim on cable news shows.

Mayor, the best response would have been merely to concede that the President does love America — every bit as much as Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. He willingly subjected himself to Wright’s sermons   for two decades, after all; and  Ayers, a man who once helped plan the bombing of the Pentagon, hired him to chair his Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

Here is the link to a flattering article concerning Ayers in which he expresses pride for his role in the bombings of  New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971,  and the Pentagon in 1972. If you want to feel a bit of extreme cosmic irony note the date the article was published.

Below is Rev. Wright showing how much he loves America.

Charlie Hedbo Attack Shows Why 1st Amendment Needs 2nd

Gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar” attacked  the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo killing at least 12 — including two police officers — and wounding four.

The Islamic attackers used a Kalashnikov  — that’s a real assault rife — and a rocket launcher.

So much for gun control.

The attack occurred  11:30 this morning, Jan. 7, Central European Time which is about five hours ago.

Charlie Hebdo  drew the ire of Islam when it re-printed  in 2006 these Jyllands-Posten cartoon depictions of Mohammed.

Charlie Hedbo Attack Shows Why First Amendment Needs Second

It doubled down in September 2012 when it published cartoons of a naked Mohammed in response to protests over the low-budget film “Innocence of Muslims”.

Last week, it featured French author Michel Houellebecq whose latest book “Submission” imagines a France in the near future ruled by an Islamic government.

Can such an attack happen here, say at Comedy Central?

Well, our hipsters — unlike, we love the irony, the French — aren’t known for their courage.  The objects of their mocking are specifically picked for objecting to violence hence their avoidance of all things Islamic

However, bullies sense weakness and it doesn’t take much of an excuse for them to resort to inflicting pain so cravenness in the end provides no protection.

Our suggestions are firstly to stop mocking things held sacred. The Jyllands-Posten cartoons were not mocking Islam. They were standing up to bullies and standing up for a value system. Mocking would be making an image of Mohammed out of dung or dropping one in a jar of urine. Doing such does not make one a hero but merely  a jerk. One can tell the truth or dispute another without resorting to mocking.

Secondly, understand that there are those who feel they are ordained to rule and have no compunction about forcing you to do their bidding. They must be fought. This means the First Amendment needs the Second. A rocket launcher is not a great means of self defense but if some of the staff at Charlie Hebdo were packing pistols, the death toll would be a lot less and the perpetrators would not be now likely planning their next attack.

And by now it should be apparent that government gun control does not work.

Thirdly, for my Muslim readers “Allahu akbar” means God is greatest. Yes, God is greatest. He doesn’t need some  loser wannabe defending Him.

Kim Jong-un Burned Alive Ends The Interview

Kim Jong-un Burned Alive Ends The Interview

Here is the ending to The Interview, the movie that Sony Pictures has pulled from distribution due to threats from North Korea and having had its cyber-stored secrets revealed in a hack attack.

The man being burned alive is North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, which is something he’s been known to do to his political opponents.

The movie is allegedly a comedy by Seth Rogen who is sort of a modern day Three Stooges minus two stooges. Note we didn’t say Charlie Chaplin. We said Three Stooges minus two stooges. There are no tender moments of pathos in a Seth Rogen film.

The movie gives Little Kim the same treatment the Stooges (and Chaplin for that matter) gave Adolph Hitler except in an edgier way.

Anyway, Kim felt the film was a threat to his power so he took action against the Japanese-owned, Hollywood-based studio thereby guaranteeing a massive hit when the movie is inevitably released — you know movies can be released online now, not just in theaters, right Kim? This means that just about everyone in the world will see his ugly face get its just deserts.

And if Kim really has managed to dig up some uber juicy blackmail stuff on the Sony honchos to keep them continuing to make copyright complaints against the forces of samizdat, well, having the film distributed by  bootleg and become super hip and cool will only make things worse for the dictator.

Google Democrat Tool

The Democrats have named uber-billionaire plutocrat Eric Scmidt to its election post-mortem group, Bloomberg.com has revealed.

It’s just something for those of you not inclined to automatically push the D button to think about the next time you use a Google product.

Do you really want the enemy to track your every move?

During the midterm election cycle, Schmidt donated $60,000 to Democratic congressional candidates and chipped in $250,000 to Senate Majority PAC.

We guess the joke is on the OWS types who voted for Obama et al to stick it Wall Street and the “crony capitalists”.

We suggest that for searches one use DuckDuckGo. Their politics may not be the same as ours but truthfully we don’t know as they don’t make an issue of it. Regardless, they don’t track you.

Further, they are based in the neighborhood, Paoli, so that’s a bonus.

For web browsing, avoid Chrome. We use Firefox. If you can’t overlook their recent political cravenness, try Opera or stick to Safari if you have a Mac.

But don’t give aid and comfort to something that is obviously the opponent of freedom and a friend to feudalists

Mumia Speech Inspires HB 2533

Murderer Mumia Abu Jamal’s Oct. 5 recorded commencement address for the Vermont Campus of Goddard College has inspired legislation in Pennsylvania to address revictimization.

House Bill 2533 passed the  House Judiciary Committee, Oct. 8, and is expected to come before the full house this week, according to State Rep. Jim Cox (R-129).

Ahhh but what will happen if it should reach the Senate, hmmm Senator Pileggi?

HB 2533 says In addition to any other right of action and any other remedy provided by law, a victim of a personal injury crime may bring a civil action against an offender in any court of competent jurisdiction to obtain injunctive and other appropriate relief, including reasonable attorney fees and other costs associated with the litigation, for conduct which perpetuates the continuing effect of the crime on the victim.

Jamal is a convicted murderer who barely escaped the execution gurney and is serving a life sentence for taking the life of an innocent man, whom he has been slandering ever since. And before you start screaming in defense of Jamal’s First Amendment rights ask if he should have Second Amendment rights as well. How about the Fourth Amendment? You think the guards should need a warrant to search his cell?

Jamal can’t even order out for a pizza. He can’t even choose what clothes to wear.

He should be grateful for just being allowed to breathe.
