Christine Allen Focuses On Accomplishments

By Kate Rainey

Joseph’s People Central Delaware County (JPCD) welcomes Christine Allen, who will present Focus On Your Accomplishments. The program is 7-8:30 p.m., Feb. 19, at St. Laurence Parish Hall, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. The entrance to Parish Hall is from the rear church driveway off of St. Laurence Road. All are welcome to the free event, without regard to religious affiliation.

Ms. Allen will teach how to identify and present your accomplishments. Your job search strategy, resume preparation, interview presentation or a request for a raise all depend on your ability to define and tell the story of your accomplishments. Can you quickly and clearly deliver a few sentences that define the problem, action you took and result you achieved for several work accomplishments? Being able to link your skills and strengths to your specific success stories is critical to launching and conducting a productive job search.

Bring your copy of The Journey; if you are new to Joseph’s People, you will receive a workbook at the meeting.
