Is The Tea Party Backing A Dem??

Tea Party activist Bob Guzzardi has sent out a release pointing out the benefits of having a Democrat as state attorney general and noting that the GOP has held the office since it became a line on the ballot 32 years ago.

He said nice things about Democrat nominee Kathleen Kane,  a former assistant district attorney for Lackawanna County, calling her “independent of both Democratic Party leadership and organized union leadership.”
He said not-so-nice things about the GOP nominee David Freed who he said was “inextricably entwined in (the) Harrisburg Republican incestuous insider network”.
He pointed out that Freed is the son-in-law of Leroy S. Zimmerman, the state’s first elected attorney general who held the office from 1981 to 1989. He noted that Zimmerman chaired Hershey Trust Co. and was a manager of the Milton Hershey School and that an investigation is active into misuse of the funds of those institutions.
Splitting the ticket might be something to think about. One guesses it comes down to how frosted one is at the Dems this Nov. 6.
