There was a guy named Ed Gein in Plainfield, WI. He was a murderer and a body snatcher. Gein was apprehended in 1957. He had many nicknames: The Plainfield Ghoul, The Ghoul of Plainfield, The Plainfield Butcher, Grandfather of Gore. Some of the things found in Ed Gein’s house included a trash can and several chairs upholstered in human skin, a belt and corset of severed nipples, lampshades, and human skulls made into bowls. He died in 1984 in a mental health institute in Wisconsin.
