  1. Maybe it depends on how you define “salad”. Are deviled eggs sitting on a couple of leaves of iceberg a salad? How about tuna or chicken mixed with mayo, with a few bits of chopped celery added? How about potato or macaroni salads, which consist almost entirely of carbs?

    1. I had the same thought, Mary-“Define ‘salad'”.
      This is an example of the problem we have in our “information society”. Context is everything, but people receive bits of information, in such an overwhelming torrent, that it’s impossible to put things into context and understand them.
      We see this phenomenon in action, with the Wuhan virus.

  2. Cobb salad, Caesar salad with chicken, egg and tuna salad, ham salad. I don’t eat a salad that is only veggie unless it is Italian tomato salad.
