I couldn’t tell you a single song I remember from the movie. Or did the soundtrack sell, because it’s practically a Time-Life “Music of Your Life” collection? And forget about “Purple Rain”.
To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, “Who are the people, who buy these soundtracks?!”
I would have guessed one of John Williams’ soundtracks for movies like “Star Wars”, “Superman”, and so on.
I thought basically the same thing. Oh well, stupid is as stupid does.
