Splenda ScamSplenda Scam — Splenda is 95 percent dextrose which is sugar. So how can it call itself “no calorie”? The 1-gram packages in which it is sold are 3.36 calories which is less than 5 calories. The FDA allows servings less than five calories to be labled “no calorie”.

Sugar packets are 2.8 grams and contain about 10 calories. If a sugar producer had a sense of humor it would sell 1-gram packets and call them “no calorie”.

Yes, Splenda is a scam.
