Vance Channels JFK In North Philly Speech — The Trump campaign, today, Aug. 19, channelled JFK circa 1960 and held a rally in a North Philadelphia factory in support of the working class and those suffering at the hands of the madmen who call themselves globalists.
Keynote speaker was vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio.
DiSorb Systems manufactuters medical products. It’s one of the few signs of life in the industrial wasteland on West Indiana Avenue.
A pair of DiSorb employees began the event with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. They were followed by CEO Ted McLaughlin who explained how much things have gotten worse in the Biden-Harris Administration. His company can no longer make long-term contracts due to price instability and that it has to depend on a variety of suppliers due to supply chain issues, he said.
Also speaking was a fellow involved in the defense industry whose name we heard as “Sam T”. Sam is a legal immigrant from Sri Lanka. He contrasted himself to Vance saying that he married a woman from western Pennsylvania’s coal country while Vance, a native of southwest Ohio, ended up marrying an immigrant from the Indian subcontinent.
Sam noted that the Biden-Harris Administration has caused a huge erosion in our defense industrial capacity.
Vance gave a cutting dissertion of the economic disaster inflicted upon America by Biden-Harris.
He said the cost of electricity has risen 30 percent; food, 20 percent; and gas 50 percent in the last three-and-a-half years.
He noted Kamala Harris was an integral part of Biden’s economic policy.
About 300 persons filled the factory floor for the rally.
Here are Vance’s remarks:
