Virginia Purging Bad Voters, Why Not Delco, Pa.?

Virginia Purging Bad Voters, Why Not Delco, Pa.? — Renee M sent us this report about how Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has purged 6,000 non-citizens from his state’s voting rolls along with 80,000 persons who have died or moved away.

Closer to home a citizens group led by John Proctor Child has found that in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, alone, has 12,000 persons on its voter rolls ineligible to vote.

What’s Gov. “Little” Josh Shapiro going to do about it? How about Delaware County Council?

The answer is almost certainly nothing.

Why would that be?

And as long as questions are being asked, why is Delaware County appealling rulings by the state Office of Open Records to grant citizens access to election information?

Why don’t poll watchers at the county’s central ballot counting center have the same rights they would at any other precinct?
