X Bans Us LOL — X banned us for a week after we suggested, today, Feb. 17, that someone show Swiss politician Meret Schneider a crucifix.
Why would we say that?
Well, Ms. Schneider looks like a vampire and she was insisting that X must be banned as a threat to democracy.
Oh, the irony.
X said this was violent speech.
We are real curious as to how they could arrive at that conclusion.
Showing someone a crucifix is actually an act of peace.
Unless, of course, one is a vampire. Does X hold that vampires are real?
X might not have banned you but for your use of the crucifix. I clicked on the link you provided in the story and there were several very derogatory tweets directed towards the subject woman you had responded to with the crucifix. Your using the crucifix could be interpreted as anti-religious/anti-Christian. I know that that was not your intent.
This is the biggest part of the problem. There is NO Free Speech on these so called social media platforms. They need to be regulated like utilities. Better yet they need to be abandoned completely.
I am lifetime banned from Facebook unless I upload a copy of my photo ID to them. Never going to happen.
