Garrison’s Gorillas, which aired on ABC in 1967 and 1968, was a TV knock off of The Dirty Dozen of middling success. It was the first U.S. show, however, exported to China. It was wildly popular there and developed cult status. Supposedly high level meetings of the Chinese Communist Party were rescheduled so members could watch it.

CoQ10 Bogus Says Trump FDA — Expect to see fewer ads praising the benefits of CoQ10 and melatonin to cure a myriad of ills including Alzheimer’s.
The Trump Administration’s FDA has sent warning letters to 12 companies and online advisory letters to five others telling them to knock off making dubious claims regarding their products.
Other additives arousing the government’s ire include green tea and L-Dopa.
Answer to yesterday’s William Lawrence Sr Cryptowit quote puzzle: You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

Robert Hockett Unwillingness To Tell The Truth — Tucker Carlson of Fox News is one of the better interviewers and on Friday (Feb. 8), he sold pompous Cornell professor Robert Hockett enough rope to hang himself.
Hockett seems to be one of the puppet masters of new socialist darling Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY14) who is being marketed as AOC, an abbreviation of her name.
Anyway, AOC released a bizarre manifesto on Feb. 5 calling for a Green New Deal in which she called for spending trillions to replace airplanes with trains, ban farting cows and provide “economic security to all who are unable or unwilling to work.”
Well Hockett sputtered she never said those thing and the phrase came from a “doctored document from someone other than us.”
It is truly amazing how easy it is for progressives to lie without shame.
Leaving aside the many contemporaneous reports of the phrase attributed to Ocasio-Cortez, there is an internet archive of it from her website. It can be found here.
Francis Scott Key was not a prisoner of the British when he wrote the Star Spangled Banner. He was the head of a peace mission sent to negotiate the release of Dr. William Beanes, a physician. However, Keys caught wind of their sneak attack on Fort McHenry so the Brits detained them until after the fighting — and their defeat.
Adam Schiff Ed Buck And Eric Bauman — Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA28), who is the new chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has been on a tear launching investigations into President Trump for just about every thing he can imagine including his pre-political personal life.
He seems almost desperate.
Anyway, here’s a picture of Adam with Ed Buck and Eric C. Bauman.
Ed Buck is a California Democrat mega-donor with the habit of having black men die in strange circumstances at his domicile. Los Angeles law enforcement shrugged off the death of Gemmel Moore in July 2017. They are having a harder time, though, ignoring the Jan. 10 death of Timothy Dean.
Wonder if Buck ever wore blackface.
Eric Bauman was the powerful chairman of the Los Angeles Democrat Party before becoming state party boss in May 2017. He was forced to step down Nov. 29 after several allegations of sexual assault and harassment by men.
Hey Adam, you OK with legislation revealing those who made payouts from Congress’ secret sexual harassment slush fund? Would your name come up?
