Pauline Manhandled From Montco Commissioners

Pauline Manhandled From Montco Commissioners — Pauline Braccio, whose health issues include bulging spinal disks, arrhythmia, asthma and lymphedema, was manhandled and removed by a county deputy sheriff from today’s (Oct. 3) Montgomery County Commissioners meeting after she questioned the minutes from the Aug. 8 meeting.

She was placed in handcuffs and thrown into a cell before her statement was taken by two county detectives after which she was released. Ms. Braccio said the situation brought on an asthma attack and she had to use a rescue inhaler. She says that due to her diabetes, the bruises on her arms and hands will take weeks to heal. She also has burst blood vessels on her forearm.

Ms. Braccio said that she will be notified in about a week if charges will be filed.

Ms. Braccio has spoken out at commissioner meetings for nearly a year saying Commissioner Ken Lawrence raped her after his friend drugged her at a community college event in 1990.

Lawrence response to the accusations has been unsatisfactory, Ms. Braccio says.

At today’s meeting, Ms. Braccio said she rose to address the August minutes which stated Lawrence responded directly to her claims. Ms. Braccio said, however, he never spoke directly to her but rather said during commissioner comments “Let the minutes reflect that I responded to Ms. Braccio’s comments that her allegations are false.”

The minutes say that “Vice Chair Lawrence commented that he responded to Ms. Pauline Braccio’s allegations as false.”

Ms. Braccio says he never directly addressed her. She says he wants him to look her in the eye and deny it. She says that when he made his statement he was looking at Chairwoman Valerie Arkoosh.

After she made her comment about the minutes, Ms. Braccio explained that her comments were germane to the county government because sexual allegations have been widely discussed and investigated concerning State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-17), Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

At that point, County Solicitor Josh Stein told her she had crossed the line and to desist, at which she said she did.

Chairwoman Arkoosh immediately called a recess and the commissioners walked out leaving Ms. Braccio at the podium.

She said Stein approached her and told her she couldn’t keep bringing up the rape. She agreed not to and he said she could continue with other comments which she said related to public integrity, the family justice advisory board and the judiciary. Stein was then called away.

She said he returned with security and said she had to leave. She asked why he changed his mind, and a hulking deputy sheriff grabbed her twisting her back and manhandled her from the room. He roughly placed her in handcuffs bruising her arms and marched her to the sheriff’s department. They tried restraining her legs but couldn’t get the shackles around them due to her lymphedema.

Obviously she was a danger and a threat.

That was sarcasm.

Maybe they could have asked to leave as they had in the past. She had complied every time.

She was placed in a cell with two women, one of whom she says had been incarcerated since Aug. 7 for unpaid parking tickets. The detectives were called. They interviewed her and she was freed. Her ordeal lasted three hours.

Misogynistic Montco Fireworks?

Misogynistic Montco Fireworks? — So what was this abusive and misogynistic event that we heard transpired at the just ended (Oct. 3) Montgomery County (Pa) Commissioners meeting?

Please tell us that Montco is not a place were victims get arrested and rapists get protected.

Joe Gale, what’s going on?

Stay tuned.

Tom Mehaffie Is Best Republican Dems Have In Harrisburg

By Leo Knepper

Nothing frustrates voters more than being told one thing when a candidate is running for office and then getting something else entirely after they take office. A fantastic example of duplicity is on display in Representative Tom Mehaffie (R-106) Here is the lead statement from his campaign website:

Tom Mehaffie is the endorsed Republican candidate running for Pennsylvania State House of Representatives in the 106th District. Tom is running to fight against the massive tax hikes being advocated by the current administration, implement reforms to make government more effective and efficient and to work to ensure we have the best schools possible to educate our young people.

Here is his actual record:

Rep. Tom Mehaffie

In 2017, Mehaffie voted against tapping the “shadow budget” and protecting taxpayers. He also sided with the Democrats when he voted against paycheck protection legislation. The paycheck protection legislation would have prevented government unions from using taxpayer resources to collect political contributions directly from workers’ paychecks.

In this legislative session, Mehaffie has sponsored a litany of terrible legislation. He is the prime sponsor of pro-union “card check” legislation, which would eliminate the secret ballot and give union organizers the personal information of employees. He is the prime sponsor of the failed nuclear power bailout that would have cost Pennsylvanians an extra $500 million per year in higher electric bills.

Rep.Mehaffie has also sponsored legislation to advance Governor Wolf’s priorities. His sponsorships include an increase in the minimum wage for teachers, and Governor Wolf’s proposal to impose additional taxes on the natural gas industry to fund “infrastructure” projects. Mehaffie is also the prime sponsor of a bill that would give unelected bureaucrats at the Fish and Boat Commission the ability to set fees.

In 2019, he also voted against a package of legislation that would have streamlined and improved the Commonwealth’s regulatory environment, and make Pennsylvania more economically vibrant. One of the bills in this package, HB 1055, would have required, among other things, the repeal of two old regulations for every new one instituted, similar to a wildly successful policy established by President Trump and the federal level.

We could extend this list for several more paragraphs, but you probably get the gist at this point. Actions speak louder than words. Rep. Mehaffie’s actions do not match up with the pro-taxpayer rhetoric he offers. His voting record and list of sponsored legislation are nearly indistinguishable from your garden variety Big Government liberal.

Eagle attacks on children William Lawrence Sr Omnibit 10-2-19

Eagle attacks on children? They happen but the crowned eagle of Africa is the only bird to believed to have attacked children as prey. A 44-pound, 7-year-old boy was attacked by one but was rescued by a woman with a hoe. The skull of a human child was found in a crowned eagle nest. A four-year-old girl disappeared and during the search, a severed arm thought to be hers was found in a tall tree inaccessible to leopards but known as a crowned eagle cache.

Dung your field William Lawrence Sr Omnibit 10-1-19

Did you know that much rain in October mean much wind in December, and that a warm October means a cold February? Hey, it’s folklore. In October, dung your field and your land its wealth shall yield.
