Albert Harshaw Wants American Dolls To Be Made In America

Albert Harshaw Wants American Dolls To Be Made In America

By Bob Small

A theme of Albert Harshaw presidential campaign is the insanely large number of “All-American” brands that are actually made in other countries.

Harshaw, of Jackson Township,N. J., is running as a Republican.

He points out that Major League baseballs are made for Rawlings in Costa Rica. The American Girl dolls, of course, are made in China. Other countries to which manufacturing is outsourced include, but are not limited to, Brazil, India, Mexico, and Taiwan.  Other brands not made state-side include, but are not limited to Brach’s Confections, Chevy Silvarado, L. L. Bean, Levi Strauss and New Balance,

Harshaw discusses this outsourcing trend in copious detail. Two of the many points he makes are his assertion that the future of manufacturing will entail robotics and , “will require, instead, individuals who can manage the robots, and the A.I. components”.

Harshaw says he is a US Navy vet who traveled to Africa, South America, and the Ukraine while in the Navy, and that he recieved a Maritime Law Certificate during his service

He has also worked, as a civilian, he worked for the New Jersey State Police.

He has been married since 2007.

Harshaw is president of the Albert Harshaw Tree and Landscape Service.

MSG IS Anti-Left Democrat From Connecticut

MSG IS Anti-Left Democrat From Connecticut

By Bob Small

Mark Stewart Greenstein (MSG) is a Connecticut Democrat who posits himself as an “anti-left” Democrat. On his web site, he lists reasons for Republicans to vote for him, including, but not limited to the following: “elimination of the income tax, faster dismantling of Obamacare, faster immigration reform, and forced socialism”.

But he also lists reasons that Democrats should vote for him, such as his dislike of the two-party system, the fact that he “likes Bernie but prefers he stays in the Senate” and the fact that he is “not enamored with any of the staged candidates”.

Lastly, he seeks the Independent vote as well, stating that he’s a candidate “who prefers small government” and “who wants to return to Constitutional governance”.

Mark Stewart Greenstein

It’s pretty evident that his stances — only a quarter of which are stated above –are fairly contradictory. Many, for example, would say Bernie Sanders stands for “forced socialism”.

MSG takes so many contradictory stances that he could probably debate himself.

In an insanely long meet-the-candidate article from his run for the Connecticut State Senate — 26 pages printed out; take on a train ride to read — we learn that MSG is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Law. He founded and currently runs Ivy Bound, a company that helps prepare students for the ACT and SAT college-entrance exams and does academic tutoring.

During this state senate campaign, one of MSG’s goals was to bring an NHL team back to Hartford, Connecticut — previous home of the Hartford Whalers, as you no doubt knew — and the slogan was “Make Connecticut SKATE again”.

Greenstein was the first Democratic candidate for the presidency to file in New Hampshire.

A Friend From Carolina

A Friend From Carolina

By Bob Small

If we’re looking for a bald Republican candidate for president, look no further than Brian Friend of North Carolina, whose slogan is “America Reborn 24;”

Friend moved to Kure Beach, NC in 1987 and received his bachelor’s in accounting from UNC-Wilmington, while washing truks for $4.50 hour.

He also has a masters degree from the former Jones International University in Forensic Accounting/Advanced Taxation.

He heads Port City Insurance which he started in 2003.

In some ways, his campaign is boiler plate GOP, describing it as

Pro God,
Pro Military,
Pro Law Enforcement,
Pro 2nd Amendment

And he adds the statement that “America needs to be baptized”.

However, he sees the need for other changes.  He is for affordable housing, choice for vaccination, school choice, cutting healthcare costs and trade schools

He also wants Americans “stranded in Afghanistan and Yemen” to be returned.

He is also anti-digital currency and defends bail bonds saying, “it is essential to . . . to keep dangerous criminals off the street, but also to let criminals that are not dangerous  the opportunity for release.”

Pennsylvania GOP Endorses McCormick For Senate For 2024

Pennsylvania GOP Endorses McCormick For Senate For 2024 — The Pennsylvania Republican Party officially endorsed Dave McCormick for U.S. Senate, today, Sept. 30, at its fall meeting we have been told.

It is believed to be the first time the state party has endorsed a candidate for an election more than a year away.

The seat that McCormick seeks has been held by Democrat Bob Casey since 2007.

McCormick lost a Republican primary election to Mehmet Oz for the 2022 Senate race.

McCormick worked at Bridgewater Associates, a private equity firm, starting as president in 2009, becoming co-CEO in 2017 and sole CEO in 2019. He stepped down in 2022 for his Senate run.

Bridgewater is closely affiliated with Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum.

McCormick attended their meeting in Davos, Switzerland in 2021 and is extensively quoted on their website.

The presumption for this early endorsement is to stop a primary challenge by a Trump supporter.

Trump notably refused to endorse him last year.

Will we vote for McCormick?

We mean in the general.

There may be some possible possibility but we are not seeing it.

Here is some food for thought if the Republicans want to keep people like us in the fold: endorse Trump now, and that includes an endorsement from McCormick; and condemn — loudly, frequently and effectively — the vilely unAmerican lawfare being waged against him.

The most serious threats to the dignity and freedom of the American citizen are open borders, lawfare, untrustworthy elections and, especially, politicalization of monetary services, which is basically the Mark of the Beast.

Can’t say we have much faith that McCormick agrees with us.

Is Pennsylvania GOP Making Early Endorsements To Sabotage Working Class?

Is Pennsylvania GOP Making Early Endorsements To Sabotage Working Class? — Josh Prince has informed us that the Pennsylvania Republican Committee intends to endorse state candidates for the 2024 election-cycle during state committee meeting which is happening today, Sept. 29, and tomorrow in Harrisburg.

“Never before has State Committee even considered endorsing state candidates –although they have federal candidates on a couple occasions — prior to the November election preceding the applicable election-cycle,” he said.

He said if an endorsement was to be made it would be at the February State Committee meeting.

He said that some candidates have not even announced yet, since it isn’t even the election-cycle in which they’re running.

The candidates reportedly to be endorsed are for treasurer, auditor general, and the U.S. Senate seat now held by Bob Casey.

This appears to be a plan to grease the wheels for Dave McCormick, who lost a primary battle for the Senate in 2022 to Mehmet Oz.

McCormick is widely mistrusted by Trump supporters in the state.

Prince says there is also talk of an endorsement for attorney general.

Could this be an attempt to squelch a candidacy by popular York County District Attorney Dave Sunday who stood up to the Wolf administrations’ stupid, counter-productive Covid restrictions?

Family fights are fine for political parties but smart people know that unfairness make its harder to forgive.

The working class Republicans haven’t forgotten how the Republican political class had no problem stabbing them in the back to make Democrat Josh Shapiro the governor. Note that the names at the link include former Pennsylvania GOP Chairman Val DiGiorgio and former Montco GOP boss Mike Vereb. Yeah, they supported Josh.

Jimmy Cooper Of Georgia Runs for President

Jimmy Cooper Of Georgia Runs for President

By Bob Small

Maybe we should call them SPD’s, or Second Party Dems, because they don’t have any realistic chance of reaching the Democratic Party debates.

The Democrats are having debates, aren’t they?

Anyway, there are a lot of SPD’s, and some of them express really innovative and challenging ideas. One such candidate is Jimmy Cooper of Georgia, not related to Tennessee Congressman Jim Cooper, or any other Jim Cooper.

Cooper mentions on his website that he is being treated for a recently diagnosed multiple myeloma.

He ran as a Green, for the US House representing Georgia’s 8th District in 2018 and 2020, and for the State of Georgia’s 145th District in 2022. He also volunteered in the campaigns of both Bernie Sanders (D) and Jill Stein (Green).

Jimmy Cooper

Though the Green Party Presidential Convention isn’t until Aug. 22, 2024, Cornell West seems to be the presumed candidate, and others need not apply.

This situation is similar to that of both the Dems and the GOP, where only one person is being considered for each.

By the way, the Libertarian Party Convention is May 24-26, 2024.

Though Cooper is running as a Democrat this time, his Greenness can be seen by perusing his 20 pages of issues. Among the ones worth mentioning are the following:

  • Abolish the Electoral College
  • Repeal GATT, NAFTA, and Taft-Hartley
  • Initiate A Basic Income (currently a hot topic in the UK and elsewhere)
  • Guarantee 100 percent of the necessary medical care that wounded veterans need to heal
  • Enact House Resolution 568, or the Unhoused Bill of Rights
  • Statehood for D.C.
  • Require that police actually live in the communities in which they serve

His other initiatives are available in the twenty pages of issues listed on his web site.

Lastly, he favors Marianne Williamson for president, but only if he doesn’t win.

Fear Of A Dem Pro-Life Candidate

Fear Of A Dem Pro-Life Candidate

By Bob Small

Having been arrested at anti-government demonstrations, I have nothing but respect — never mind the cause — for those willing to be arrested for a belief.

The would include Terrisa Bukovinac. She is among those seeking the Democratic nomination for president

Ms. Bukovinac is the founder of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) which she says is a “liberal pro-life group”.  She says that The Progressive case against abortion “is inconsistent with the noon-violent instincts of feminism to tie the liberation of women to the elimination of any group of human beings”.

The Christian Post notes Ms. Bukovinac’s group includes pro-life activists who have been convicted of federal charges — and face 11 year sentences — in connection with a 2020 lockdown” of a D.C. abortion clinic.

Ms. Bukovinac has been rallying to their defense.

Ms. Bukovinac was also among those outside the federal prosecutor’s office, last October, protesting the persecution of Mark Houck

She talks about the need to bring back the concept of “ rescue”.  Rescue is a PAAU tactic that involves “entering abortion facilities to pass out roses with pregnancy help information attached to abortion-minded patients.”

She has also served on the boards of Democrats for Life of  America and Rehumanize International

The loyal Democrats of Swarthmore had never mentioned either to me.

In this Minimise interview, she simply says “I want to change the way that humanity views unborn life.”

In this CRUX interview, she asks the question, as an atheist, “if we only get one life to live and there’s no God to bring about justice in the end , how could abortion be just?”.

She believes we need “a willingness to disrupt the status quo.”

“No social justice movements are won without critical nonviolent direct action,” she says.

She is a co-leader of Secular Pro Life and serves on the board of Let them Live.

Here is an update regarding the D.C. Abortion Blockade trial.

Most of the updates, for some reason, seem to be from The Christian Post.

My arrests for civil disobedience also had to do with disagreements about US Government Policy.

My time in jail was hours, however, not years.

Clapping For Walter Clapp

Clapping For Walter Clapp

By Bob Small

We couldn’t clap for Walter Clapp last Wednesday (Aug. 23) t as he wasn’t on stage.  Along with the horde of lesser-known GOP presidential candidates — the Dems have just as many — he did not have a place on the stage, nor, truth be told, any chance of getting there.

This is a shame because Walter D. Clapp, a Montana attorney and a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, is also “one of the first Rural Incubator Project for Lawyers to serve middle class Montanans”.

He believes social issues are “best left to the states”.  He also believes “Every day we fight a battle that rages between our ears.  It’s a war between  love and hate, good and evil, truth and untruth. My message is that the Republican Party stands for good, for truth, and yes, for love.”

Clapping For Walter Clapp

Among other projects he plans, that none of the other candidates will do, is “setting out on a cross-country trip driving a team of horses and a wagon this fall.”

Can’t we see Chris Christie joining him with his New Jersey horses?

He also pledges to “Uncap the House”, “Amend the Constitution” so as to be able to call a convention of the states, and promote exploration in space for “Americans to mine minerals in space”.

Maybe Vivek could be part of that first group in outer space.

For the latest on this aspect, see  A horse-drawn POTUS hopeful hits the road – Montana Free Press

He’s also involved with Honor Coin Law, which has to do with cryptocurrency, though I found their whole explanation cryptic, as I often do.

Lastly, he’s not the only presidential candidate this cycle from Montana.
