HMB 2022 Pierogie Schedule — Holy Myrrh-Bearers Ukrainian Catholic Church has announced its 2022 pierogie sales schedule. The potato and cheese delicacies are $10 per dozen and can be ordered by calling 610-544-1216.

Pickups are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at the church, 900 Fairview Road, Swarthmore, Pa. 19081.

Tomorrow’s, April 15, starts at 7 p.m. and will last to 9:45 p.m. and the subjects will be the legislature, constitutional amendments and the Uniform State Law Commission, which Bill describes as a Chicago-based shadow legislature that introduces bills in every state and that few have heard of them.

Negotiating Salary Is Subject Of Free Workshop — Joseph’s People – Delaware County Chapters will hold, 7 p.m., Feb. 2, the hour-long virtual workshop What to Say in Negotiating Salary.

The event is free. Presenter will be renowned employment coach Elaine Herbert.

Negotiating salary can be intimidating. Topics include how to act when your initial offer is challenged; when you should change your voice; how asking the right questions can make you more confident and successful in capturing the salary.

Remember, you do not get what you deserved, you get what you negotiate.

This workshop shows job seekers how to take an aggressive approach in finalizing the new job offer with no risk of losing the job.

West Chester Griswolds Christmas Light Show — Good friend Kate Rainey has reminded us about a great show of Christmas lights at 304 Dutton Mill Road, West Chester, Pa. 19380.

The family bills it as the West Chester Griswolds and it runs through Jan. 2 lit from 4:45-9:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday; with an extra half-hour longer on weekends.

There is a mailbox at the end of the drive to drop off letters to Santa. Last year 550 were forwarded to the North Pole.

CAP Candidate Training Academy — Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania is holding a one-day Candidate Training Academy for those seeking to run in the 2022 primary election.

It’s Jan. 8 in Camp Hill.

The intensive session is for anyone interested in learning what it takes to run a viable campaign and become a citizen legislator. Attendees will be taught how to fundraise, effectively use of social media, craft a campaign message among other things.

30th Bill Of Rights Banquet Is Dec 15 — The 30th Bill of Rights Commemorative Banquet will be 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Yoder’s Restaurant, 14 S Tower Road, New Holland, Pa 17557.

Slavic Christmas Lunch 2021

Slavic Christmas Lunch 2021 — Holy Myrrh-Bearers Ukrainian Catholic Church’s annual Slavic Christmas and Saint Nicholas Lunch is noon, Sunday, Dec. 5.

On the menu are stuffed cabbage, pierogies, halushki (cabbage with noodles), kielbasi and sauerkraut, ham, home made desserts, beverages and chicken fingers for the children.

There will be a visit from Saint Nick.

Tickets are $20 and $10 for children. It’s free for those 12 and under.

Seating is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door. To reserve a seat call 610-544-1215 or email HMBCHURCH@Verizon.NET.

Attendees are asked to bring new socks, gloves, hats, undergarments, thermals for the homeless shelters for the Saint Nick’s basket for the homeless.
