No Anthony, hydrogen dioxide is not water. Water is H20, which means it is not dioxide but monoxide. The proper scientific name for water is water.

If you want to mess with people’s heads you can call it dihyrdogen monoxide (DHMO).
Just don’t drink it if it’s yellow and has a sour smell. It could be lemonade.
