Micajah Harpe William Lawrence Sr Omnibit 11-3-15

Harpe’s Head is a crossroads in Webster County, Ky. It is named for Micajah Harpe or his head anyway. “Big” Harpe was a serial killer highway man and river priate who met his demise at that particular spot in 1799. The husband of one of his victims decapitated the villain and stuck his head in a tree. It remained there for 10 years before someone stole it.

  1. What’s the statue of limitations on decapitated head theft?
Let’s hope they capture the head robber.
