Scotch tape — William Lawrence Sr. Omnibit 3-21-16

You lost the end of the Scotch tape and are going nuts trying to find it? Remember to stick a paper clip (or toothpick or matchstick) to it next time. No more problem. This works with duct tape too.

  1. When I worked with stage lighting, I learned to leave a courtesy tab on any roll of tape, or, any time we used tape to secure something (like securing the pigtail on an instrument to the drop). You fold the end of the tape back under itself.

Of course, I always carry a knife, too, because I worked with enough people who didn’t know to leave a courtesy tab.
