Unionville-Chadds Ford Immunization Issue Explained On Dom — Kudos to Kathleen Carmody who just ended an excellent segment of the legendary Dom Giordano Show regarding the goings on with the Unionville-Chadds Ford School Board.
The district, which includes municipalities from Chester and Delaware counties, Pennsylvania, is pondering whether they should take out the moral-philosophical clause in the immunization exemption policy.
Religious and medical exemptions would remain.
One board member described the change as mere semantics. This, of course, raises the question as to why bother then.
Gail Newman Fundraiser –Gail Newman is seeking to unseat Democrat incumbent Kristine Howard to represent the 167th District in the Pennsylvania House and will be holding a fundraising dinner p.m., Sept. 21 at the Desmond Hotel, 1 Liberty Blvd, Malvern Pa. 19355.
Mrs. Newman notes that Ms. Howard is an intrinsic opponent of any alternatives to public education, while she supports education in all facets, whether public, private or charter.
She also notes, that unlike Ms. Howard, will prohibit biological males from competing in girls’ supports or having a by-right access to their private spaces.
Mrs. Newman also opposes the useless lockdowns.
Tickets range from $75 to $1,000. They should be made payable to Friends of Gail Newman and sent to 11 Landmark Drive, Malvern, Pa. 19355.
Guest speaker will be James Hanak, founder and CEO of Pa Leadership Charter School.
