Donald Trump and Dave McCormick, the man Pennsylvania Republicans picked to unseat Bob Casey as senator, exchanged enthusiastic endorsements at Trump’s almost two-hour speech, last night, June 22, at Temple University’s Liacouras Center.
Trump notably snubbed McCormick for Mehmet Oz in the 2022 Senate which Oz would lose to John Fetterman.
McCormick was CEO of Bridgewater Associates, before stepping down for his ’22 Senate run. He is the favorite of the Republican political establishment which at times has been actually hostile to The Donald.
Of course, the people-side of the party has been a tad hostile to McCormick who has ties to the World Economic Forum.
As long as all agree that Joe must go, that’s a sign of progress.
Trump was quick-witted, spontaneous and energetic which was a sharp contrast to other notable politicians of his generation.
He made a big issue of Biden’s falsification of crime statistics and noted how much more dangerous cities have become. Sadly driving the point home, a Philadelphia Police officer was shot in Kensington while the speech was taking place and transported to Temple University Hospital, where he is in the ICU.
