Chester Murder Rate May Top World With Soros D.A.

Chester Murder Rate May Top World With Soros D.A. — Sunday’s shooting of 56-year-old Enrie Wilson, gives Chester, Pa. six murders for the year and the year is only 50 days old. If the pace stands, Chester, with a population of 34,000, will end 2020 with 44 murders.

Will Jack act?

That would be a murder rate of 131 per 100,000, which would be second in the world behind Tijuana (138 per 100,000) and by far tops in the US more than doubling that of St. Louis which had 61 per 100,000 in 2018.

Is Delaware County’s new district attorney Jack Stollsteimer going to do anything about this? Is George Soros going to let him?

Stollsteimer Ignores Murder, Victims' Pain

Stollsteimer Ignores Murder, Victims’ Pain — Democrat Jack Stollsteimer was sworn in as Delaware County District Attorney, Jan. 6.

Stollsteimer Ignores Murder, Victims' Pain
Jack Stollsteimer indifferent to victims’ suffering

He bragged in Jan. 8 press release that  he is dropping a 27-year-old retail theft case against David Sheppard, a Philadelphia man whose life sentence on an unrelated case was recently commuted by Governor Thomas W. Wolf.

Unrelated Jack? Why not just say what that “unrelated case” was? Sheppard was serving a life sentence for the murder of 64-year-old Thomas Brannan who was killed during the robbery of Love’s Pharmacy in the Overbrook Section of Philadelphia in which Sheppard participated.

The retail theft charge — which stems from a shoplifting at the defunct Jeans West in Springfield — was imposed last year by then D.A. Kat Copeland. It wasn’t about keeping Sheppard in prison but about giving Brannan’s survivors a chance to speak. Wolf refused to do this as the wonderful Dom Giordano pointed out on his show yesterday (Jan. 9).

The most sickening thing about the “social justice” crowd is that they can’t get that mercy and compassion and empathy apply to victims too. Sheppard didn’t pull the trigger and clemency after 25 years is not beyond the pale, but to refuse to give the survivors a chance to look Sheppard in the eye and, more importantly, make him look in their eyes is about as heartless an act law enforcement can do.

Stollsteimer is among the prosecutors elected after receiving support and funding from billionaire one-percenter George Soros, who says “the main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.”

Reject Marcy’s Law Amendment

Reject Marcy’s Law Amendment — Marcy’s Law, a proposed amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution, is on the ballot Nov. 5.

The amendment claims to give crime victims “rights” and is being supported by actor Kelsey Grammer and various politicians.

It’s wording is:

Shall the Pennsylvania Constitution be amended to grant certain rights to crime victims, including to be treated with fairness, respect and dignity; considering their safety in bail proceedings; timely notice and opportunity to take part in public proceedings; reasonable protection from the accused; right to refuse discovery requests made by the accused; restitution and return of property; proceedings free from delay; and to be informed of these rights, so they can enforce them?

Sounds nice. Vote against it.

The respected PrinceLaw.com has an excellent explanation as to why.

The most obvious reason is the question as to why we need a difficult-to-change constitutional amendment when the issue could be addressed with far more flexibility via a statute.

The most significant reason is that the proposed amendment puts the accused in the category of criminal and cements the accuser as the victim. Not all accused are guilty. Not all accusers tell the truth. That’s why we have trials.

The most subtle reason is ballot questions are limited to 73 words but the actual amendment is 500 words and creates 15 new “rights”.

Buying something unseen is always unwise.

The clincher is the amendment is being backed by Bloomberg money. Is this going to be a gun grab?

Say no to Marcy’s Law.

Mexico Paying For Wall After All

Mexico Paying For Wall After All — Joel Pollack on Breitbart points out that President Trump can start building the wall now and can burn through $4.5 billion before even touching the $3.6 billion from his contested national emergency declaration.

Ha ha

Pollack says the money available now includes $600 million from the Treasury Forfeiture Fund (Mexican drug lords), $2.5 billion from the Department of Defense to support counterdrug activities, and the $1.4 billion from the just approved budget. Only the money in the budget has restrictions, Pollack says.

Hawaii Scandals Go Unreported

Hawaii Scandals Go Unreported — A big beautiful wall won’t stop all fentanyl from coming in it seems.

Hey, have you heard about the YUGE scandal occurring in Hawaii?

Of course not. All involved are Democrats. Hawaii is the birthplace of President Obama, after all.

Please no sarcastic comments.

Anyway, a federal grand jury indictment was unsealed Tuesday (Feb. 12) accusing former deputy city prosecutor Katherine Kealoha in Honolulu of distributing oxycodone, fentanyl and Xanaxaling with her brother Dr. Rudolph Puana and unnamed persons.

Mrs. Kealoha is the wife of retired Honolulu police chief Louis Kealoha who is facing numerous charges relating to fraud and obstruction of justice. Yes, his wife is a co-defendant in these matters too.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Honolulu’s top prosecutor, Keith Kaneshiro, is being looked at by the feds.

How much corruption is there out there?

Charles Manson Dies 45 Years Late

Charles Manson Dies 45 Years Late — Charles Manson is dead and it’s 45 years too late.

I was eight years old in the summer of 1969 when the Manson cult killed nine innocent people. It horrified me and I’d put my fingers in my ears when the story was reported on the  radio.

But as my understanding of the world then came from TV shows where the bad guys would be caught and justice done, I had faith that would happen.

And they did catch the bad guys.

Justice, though, was never done.

Manson and three of his followers — others would be convicted of other murders — were found guilty in 1971 and received the death penalty. The Supreme Court, however, bizarrely ruled the next year that the death penalty as it existed was unconstitutional and commuted all death sentences to life in prison.

And so Manson live to an old age with the cool crowd calling him a hero. Rolling Stone magazine, which hopefully soon goes the way of Manson, portrayed him as a visionary and expressed sympathy for him. Hippie underground newspapers named him Man of the Year.  Chic radical Bernadine Dohrn expressed awe and admiration.  Ms. Dohrn and her rapey husband Bill Ayers would go on to become Barack Obama’s mentors.

Pop singers adopt his name and his image can still be found on t-shirts.

I really am a fan of Pope Francis but he is dead wrong on the death penalty. The world — and America — would be exponentially better off if that piece of human debris kept his date with the gas chamber 45 years ago.

James Fields Acquittal What If

James Fields Acquittal What If — James Fields Jr., the driver of the car that killed Heather Heyer during Saturday’s riots in Charlottesville, Va, may be the most hated man in America. Media outlets are calling him sans qualification a “neo Nazi” and “white supremacist”. The President, himself, has been backed into calling him a terrorist and murderer not necessarily to the joy of the prosecutors who are going to find it that much harder to find an untainted jury.

It would be the ultimate display of hipster irony if the progressives broke into the jail and hanged him from a lamppost.

Fields is charged with second degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding and failure to stop in an accident that resulted in death.

FindLaw.com says second degree murder is ordinarily defined as: 1) an intentional killing that is not premeditated or planned, nor committed in a reasonable “heat of passion”; or 2) a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender’s obvious lack of concern for human life.

From the videos all of us have seen, it certainly fits but here’s a thought that will make certain heads spin: what if he’s acquitted?  What if his motivation wasn’t to cause harm but to flee danger as some tweets at the time seem to indicate? If he can show this, he will be acquitted of the murder charge and probably everything else.

So hipsters, progressives and media pundits, get your torches and clubs and rope and break into that jail now if you want done what you’ve already made your minds up about must be done.

Or else just ask what Clarence Darrow would do and let a trial happen. If Fields is found guilty he’ll be punished as deserved.

Old Felons Fill Fed Prisons

Old Felons Fill Fed Prisons — For those who think America is Amerika and oppressive and repressive and mean, consider that of the 188,000 persons in federal prison, 80 percent are over 30 and about 45 percent are over 40.

In other words, those doing the hard time aren’t kids who made a stupid mistake, but calculating adults who likely have a long history of stupid mistakes.
