Bonnie Ramthun of PJMedia.com reports that the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area is America’s 10th most dangerous national park.
Who would have thought it?
The most dangerous is the Lake Mead National Recreation Area on the Nevada-Arizona border.

Q – How many posed pictured did Michelangelo paint?
A – Just one as far as we know. He much preferred working in marble.
This morning’s (Jan. 31) The Philadelphia Inquirer has a huge front-page headline about the looming guilty plea of Pennsylvania Treasurer Rob McCord.
McCord attempted to extort money during his failed gubernatorial run last year by warning potential donors that they should not make an enemy of the state treasurer. He is charged with violation of federal campaign finance law as it is illegal to solicit campaign funds in exchange for official acts.
No where on the front page does it mention McCord’s party affiliation.
In fact, it’s not until the very last paragraph on the jump page that it is noted that McCord’s gambit happened in the Democrat Primary.
Compare that to how The Washington Post covered it.
McCord is from Montgomery County and like fellow Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf is a rich, white guy who made a fortune in the private sector, in McCord’s case as a venture capitalist with Safeguard Scientifics.
McCord founded the Eastern Technology Council in 1998 and ran it through 2007. We think its safe to say that another spelling for the Eastern Technology Council would be “cronyism”.
What this illustrates is that not all capitalists believe in free markets.
McCord, who on Thursday (Jan. 29) announced that he would resign on Feb. 12, said he will now resign immediately. His successor will be appointed by Wolf.

Did you know the letter R is the sixth most frequently used letter in English? It is.

The United States Army tweeted, yesterday, Jan. 30, “Chinks in special ops’ digital and physical armor poses challenges, experts say” which referred to this news release which, then, had a similar headline.
Notice it has changed.
Why? Because various public-school educated idiots took to Twitter expressing outrage over what they thought was an ethnic slur and even bigger idiots caved in to them.
A nation that fails to defend truth is a nation in trouble and the truth is that only an attention-seeker or an idiot would call “chinks” as was used by the Army in that context an ethnic insult.
Here is an example of “chinks” as used as an ethnic insult: “A Chink is always a Gook, but a Gook isn’t always a Chink”
You know who wrote those words? Sen. Al Franken.
If the grievance mongers want to make themselves useful they should demand that he resigns.

Vice President Joe Biden once again demonstrated the inherent honesty in the specially abled and spoke harsh words of truth this morning (Jan. 30) to the House Democrat Caucus at a retreat in Philadelphia at the Society Hill Sheraton.
“To state the obvious, the past six years have been really, really hard for this country,” he told those responsible for making it so. “And they’ve been really tough for our party. . . .They’ve been really tough for our party. And together we made some really, really tough decisions — decisions that weren’t at all popular, hard to explain”
Here it is as it happened on C-Span:
