Val DiGiorgio Fails GOP In Chesco

Val DiGiorgio Fails GOP In Chesco — Chester County GOP boss Val DiGiorgio is reputedly next in line as state party chairman. Hopefully, his fellow Republicans consider Chesco’s performance Nov. 8 before making it official.
Donald Trump lost the county, which Mitt Romney won in 2012, by 25,000 votes. The party pointedly avoided backing Trump.
Congressional candidate and Lloyd Smucker lost the conservative part of the county that is part of the 16th congressional district by more than 4,000 votes. Smucker was not supported by the GOP activists there whom DiGiorgio had alienated.
While Smucker’s margin in Lancaster County was more than enough to carry him to victory, that he lost an area he should have won big speaks ill of those running things.
John Rafferty, whose 44th Senate District includes much of Chester County, won the county by but 50 votes out of 267,000 cast in his failed bid for state Attorney General. Could DiGiorgio’s ties to the Democrat winner have caused him to put forth less of an effort than he should?
One can only speculate.
Dan Truitt won re-election to his 156th District State House seat by less than 80 votes in a strong Republican year. (UPDATE: He lost by 25 votes. Way to go Val.) Jack London lost the 19th District state senate seat, despite much pre-election braggadocio by DiGiorgio, and spending huge amounts of resources.
DiGiorgio has picked puzzling fights with many of the county’s most staunch Republicans causing what appears to be permanent divisions. The only motive we can figure is to avoid scrutiny by those most concerned about good government to maximize patronage opportunities.
He will be a disaster for the party if he becomes state chairman.

Tom Wolf Backed Racist York Dem
Tom Wolf Backed Racist York Dem — The Washington Post is continuing its politics of hate and division against President-elect Donald Trump despite owner Jeff Bezos’ desperate offer of the peace pipe.
Yesterday, Nov. 11, the rag carried a story about and ran on its website a video of a teenager shouting “white power” in York, Pa. The kid was in proximity to a Trump sign.

The story mentioned the 1969 York Race Riot and brought up how York Mayor Charles “Charlie” H. Robertson was charged in 2001, while in office, with the murder of a black women due to actions he committed as a young police officer during the riot. Robertson was acquitted albeit there didn’t seem to be a defense that he was a noble defender of law and justice for all, and in fact, admitted to shouting a racial slur.
Which gets us back to the WaPo propaganda piece. The Post doesn’t mention Robertson’s party which is Democrat. Far more damning, the Post failed to note that his campaign manager and political supporter was Gov. Tom Wolf.
It is not the Trump people who back racists. Wolf, if you don’t know, is a very “progressive” Democrat.

The bloodiest battle in U.S. history occurred in neither the Civil War nor World War II. It was the Battle of Meuse-Argonne in 1918 which ended World War I and saw the loss of 26,277 American lives with another 95,786 wounded. The second worst battle was the Battle of the Bulge in World War II which saw 19,276 deaths. There were 7,863 deaths at Gettysburg, the worst Civil War battle.
Remember all veterans today.

Rich Riots After Trump Win
Rich Riots After Trump Win — The riots that have occurred after Donald Trump’s election are neither spontaneous nor grassroots. They started at the same time in major urban areas and are, obviously, orchestrated.

Property has been damaged, people have been hurt and lives disrupted.
It is those one-percenters paying the orchestrators who have to be held most accountable. Hopefully, Trump’s justice department is of this mind.
That’s right, George Soros, orange will be the new black.
