Dunkirk is famously known as the evacuation point for the British Expeditionary Force from France in 1940. What’s not that well known is that the Nazis held the French port until May 9, 1945, the day after Germany’s official surrender.
Rebecca Warren Outshines Debate Opponents — We have been told that Rebecca Warren was the star of the Pennsylvania Superior Court candidate’s debate held Tuesday, May 7, at the Free Public Library in Philadelphia. Only about 50 persons were in the the audience.
Two seats are being contested for 10-year terms on the court which is the intermediate appellate court for most matters in the state. We understand it to be the busiest appellate court in the nation.
Debate participants were Democrats Daniel D. McCaffery and Beth Tarasi, and Republicans Ms. Warren, Megan McCarthy King and Christylee Peck.
The latter two Republicans are the choice of the party establishment. Ms. Warren may well be the choice of everyone else.
At least those who don’t want their judges to be the puppets of party bosses.

Hypocrite Buttigieg And Islam — Pete Buttigieg, the bitter, angry, outspokenly homosexual mayor of South Bend, Ind., has attacked Christians who vote Republican because of Biblical imperatives such as protecting the weak and helpless, not killing, and refraining from destructive sex acts; and that the Democrat Party not merely dismiss these commands but is offended by the very idea of God.
At least God as how Christians know Him.
Buttigieg has been notably silent regarding the hate-filled statements of militant Islamist congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-MN5) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI13).
Something to consider: Would Buttigieg prefer to be thrown off the building or have it fall on him?

Montco Commissioner Faces Rape Accusation From 1990 — A Montgomery County woman is accusing county commissioner Vice Chairman Kenneth E. Lawrence Jr. and another man, of drugging and raping her in 1990, while they were students at Montgomery County Community College. Pauline Braccio of Towamencin Township says the rape occurred while they were on a student government retreat in Pike County in the Poconos.
Lawrence would have been 18 at the time.
She accused Lawrence to his face at the Sept. 9 Montco Commissioners meeting, video below.
Ms. Braccio signed an affidavit, published below, notarized by Joseph Ronald Ceccola on Oct. 10.
We have redacted the last name and home town of the other man as he is a private citizen, has not been charged with anything, and was not mentioned in Ms. Braccio’s public comments.
Ms. Braccio says she was inspired to come forth by the MeToo Movement.
She says she reported the matter to State Police in Pike County last June 25, speaking to Trooper Cabets. She also said she was interviewed by the FBI on Nov. 2. She said the FBI and Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin told her the matter couldn’t be prosecuted because the statute of limitations had passed.
She says she plans on attending these meetings until Lawrence resigns.
“I will go to every meeting because I want him to look at my face,” she said.
As of 3 p.m., Lawrence did not respond to a morning email for a comment.
