Pat Meehan Sanctimonious Phony — Pat Meehan has pompously proclaimed that he will not vote for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump because Trump was caught talking dirty 10 years ago.

Gee Pat, that’s a new standard considering some of the candidates from Delaware County that you have supported.

Guess letting a person take office that is OK with ripping apart a nine-month-old baby is now less offensive to your sense of aesthetics.

It seems those circulating fliers last spring saying your pro life position was insincere had a point. You’ve certainly made us not regret our vote for Stan Casacio in the primary.

Still we do plan on voting for you Nov. 8 but it’s not because we like you. We just want the amusement of seeing you squirm in dealing with The Donald as president.

Meehan says he plans to write in Mike Pence.  Frankly, we think he never intended to vote for Trump.  Trump’s goal is to clean Capitol corruption. Starting with the V.A. That really frightens some people.

Wikileaks Project Veritas New Journalism

Wikileaks Project Veritas New Journalism — Journalism is giving you facts that you don’t know but should.

The traditional media has long lost its independence and has long-stopped practicing journalism. If there is a fact that you should know but the corporate overlords prefer that you don’t, then you will not learn of it from TV or a daily newspaper. Wikileaks Project Veritas New Journalism

The internet is about the last place left for the trade to be practiced.

Wikileaks revelations that the Clinton campaign is in the pocket of the money people and is collaborating with tame media has rocked the campaign.  Hillary’s damning emails are on the Wikileaks’ website here for the world to see.  No gatekeeper is needed.

Project Veritas’ investigation into election manipulation by felons with strong connections to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton has forced the removal of two shady characters — Scott Foval and Robert Creamer — from the Clinton campaign.

PV’s stories regarding this very real assault on democracy can be found here and here. Before the media became corrupted they would have won Pulitzer Prizes.

You would never have learned of these very relevant-to-your-lives matters from the old media.

Studied hard

Finale Debate 2016 — Tonight’s (Oct. 19) final presidential debate for 2016 had a clear winner namely Chris Wallace who is the first moderator in many years to keep himself out of the spotlight.

Donald Trump did one very good thing for himself in not merely  quashing the claims of sexual misbehavior that had been levied against him but bringing forth The Project Veritas investigation regarding how the Clinton campaign has been orchestrating smears and instigating violence at his rallies.

Quashed allegations and revealed Veritas.

The establishment media has been avoiding the PV scoop like it was an angry hornet.

Hillary Clinton appeared like a girl who studied very hard for an oral exam and tried diligently to impress the teacher.

Trump, by the way, baldly said that vote fraud was a concern and refused to say if he would concede immediately if he lost.

Wallace’s questions had the candidates draw in bright lines their positions so those watching have no excuse as to not knowing where they stand when they vote.

Pro Choice Pigs Back Hillary Clinton

Pro Choice Pigs — The Clintons and the corporations are pushing the meme that bans or restrictions on abortion are “anti-woman”.

Pro Choice Pigs
He’s with her.

This is epic Orwellian wordplay.

The men most inclined to treat women as sex toys are invariably “pro choice”.

Why do Larry Flynt and Gloria Steinem support the same candidates? Why is Jeffery Epstein a friend of the Clintons? Why do rap musicians and Hollywood “players” back Democrats, often only because of their position on abortion?

You don’t need to be Einstein to connect the dots.

The motivations of those who are pro life are also not hard to fathom. All decent persons believe that there is an obligation to protect the weak and helpless. All with an IQ above room temperature understand that life indisputably starts somewhere.

You ever notice that it is the “pro choice” crowd that goes to extremes to avoid discussing where that somewhere might be?

What is hard to fathom, however, is why women somehow are supposed to think that it is in their interest to tell men that the baby they’re carrying is none of their business.

Donald Trump was a Hollywood-connected billionaire who obviously did his share of things that were wrong. Unlike his fellow one-percenters, though, he seems to understand this and is willing to make amends.

If you have a soul, he’s basically your only choice in this election.

Charlton, Schaefer Debate Before 150

Charlton, Schaefer Debate Before 150 — The candidates seeking to replace Bill Adolph for the 165th District Seat in the Pennsylvania State House debated tonight (Oct. 18) before an audience of about 150 at the Springfield Township Building.

Alex Charlton of Springfield, the Republican, emphasized many times that Pennsylvania has a spending problem not one of revenue. “It’s not that we tax enough but that we spend too much,” he said.

Elaine Schaefer of Radnor, the Democrat, pushed over and over an extraction tax on natural gas, and forcing more revenue from corporations as budget solutions.

Both supported more education spending. Charlton noted that he had three daughters. Both supported greater government transparency. Charlton especially defended the Open Records Office and condemned Gov. Wolf’s attempt to politicize it last year.

Shaefer said she opposed privatizing the state-owned liquor stores because Pennsylvania would lose revenue. Charlton supported liquor privatization and noted that most of the revenue would remain as it comes from taxes which would be unchanged. He also noted that Pennsylvania would get money from the sale of the liquor stores.

Shaefer strongly defended Gov. Wolf’s plan to resettle a massive number of Syrian refugees in the state. She cited the benefits of diversity. She said that until someone is identified as a “bad actor” we must assume he is not. Charlton thought Wolf’s plan was foolish. “We need to put the needs of our citizens first,” he said.

Schaefer rabidly defended Planned Parenthood and unrestricted abortion. Charlton noted that Planned Parenthood was a billion dollar corporation but that defunding it was not on his agenda. Rather, his emphasis would be on health care for pregnant women. He noted that as long as Roe v Wade was in effect it was difficult to address abortion legislatively.

Schaefer attacked the National Rifle Association and condemned legislation that allowed municipalities to be sued if they enacted gun laws that went beyond what the state had enacted. Charlton pointed out that a state-wide patchwork of gun laws would cause turmoil and that a gun owner should have an expectation of consistency when moving around the state.

Both candidates said open space was important to a community. Schaefer took issue with Charlton’s suggestion last summer that the Philadelphia Archdiocese donate the Don Guanella tract in Marple that is up for development. She said the acquisition of open space is a long, complicated process. Charlton noted that he has met with the Archdiocese, that they were not offended and that the matter is advancing.

In response to a question regarding the recent state Supreme Court ruling that the “local share assessment” provision in the state gambling code unfairly burdened some casinos, Charlton said it was critical that Chester City and Delaware County not lose the money that they had been getting from Harrah’s in Chester, and that he expected the legislature to have the matter addressed before the winner of this election took office.

Schaefer said she wanted to tax drilling in the Marcellus Shale.

The debate was sponsored by the League of Women Voters and was videorecorded by John Haines Sr of Off Net TV. It should be available at his YouTube channel here. Or one can contact him for information, anyway.
