Kudos to Fox29 Philadelphia and Sue Serio for this morning’s (Oct. 27) story on Good Day concerning the Delaware County Veterans Memorial on West Chester Pike in Newtown.
Featured were Margaret Lozinak Lawrence of Springfield and Bob Dimond of Media, both Korean War veterans, and Springfield Police Chief Joe Daly, who served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.
Kudos also to Claude deBotton without whose help the Memorial would never have been built.

And what about Nurse Margaret Lozinak Lawrence. She’s a hottie. Her smile must have cured a lot of suffering GI’s.
This is a wonderful memorial. People can buy bricks that are engraved for only $100 to honor their loved ones who served, or to honor our troops. They obviously will last and last and last. I bought one for my father who was in the SeaBees in WWII and love taking my grandchildren to this wonderful memorial to search for his brick. Three of them weren’t even born when he passed away. It’s also an incredibly beautiful memorial that can be readily viewed at night from Route 3.
