Illegal Crisis Explained At United4Delco Event — Charlie Alexander and Sharon Devaney have become the faces of the illegals crisis in Delaware County, Pa.
They were United4Delco‘s speakers, last night, May 2, at Gatsby’s Bar and Grill in Aston.
Sharon’s story is well known to our readers. She has also told it many times at Delco Council meetings despite sneers from councilmembers.
At about 8 a.m., April 10, 2017, Sharon’s Toyota Camry was t-boned at Lawrence and Ellis roads in Haverford Township, Pa. She was left crippled. Her daughter was with her and would have likely been killed if it was her door that was hit.
The driver of the striking car was an illegal alien from Trindad and Tobago. She was let walk away without arrest or any consequence.
Sharon says the woman still lives in the county.
Charlie, whose writings have spun the heads of Delco’s Democrats, explained what got him involved with the matter.
Actually, not that long ago he was a Democrat, he says. That began to change after Obama’s election, though. He says 2008 was the last time he voted D.
A few months ago, Charlie was told that plans were in the works to use the shuttered Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Upper Darby and Springfield Hospital to house illegals.
He called the county’s public relations department. When he described what he was trying to get confirmed or denied, initial friendliness turned cold. He was told to email his questions. Charlie did but got no response. He contacted them again without satisfaction. He wrote about it at his site, Chuckles Sports.
This begat a smear campaign with Delco officials accusing him of being a MAGA AI bot.
Charlie didn’t back down. He says his sources are reliable and in position to have knowledge of county plans.
He was told Delco planned to use the buildings at Don Guanella to house illegals.
Again, he said his sources were reliable and in position to know.
He says this was being orchestrated by non-governmental organizations such as HIAS, which started as Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
The county of course continues to deny it.
Charlie is not a keyboard warrior. He has gone on the scene to investigate support groups for illegals and reports of suspicious vans at locations suspected of being part of the transportation network for illegals.
Charlie spoke at Wednesday’s, May 1, council meeting and gave councilmembers a blueprint as to how to win trust, which is basically to start trying to solve the problem rather than defensively denying it exists.
County Council has only itself to blame when people believe the worst. Those who stonewall and gaslight simply can’t be trusted.

Citizens Again Throng Delco Council With Concerns Of Illegals — Delaware County (Pa) Council faced an angry throng for its second straight meeting, last night, May 1.
Illegals and the quasi-related plan for Delco Woods — the 213-acre Don Guanella tract in Marple now a county park — were again the flashpoints.
This time only 55 were allowed in the council meeting room . The rest — said to be over 100 — were stashed in the jury room and watched on TV.
Attendees were kept from entering the Government Center until 5:45 p.m. for the 6 p.m. meeting.
This was the first time we recall this restriction.
Delco, like most of America, is suffering the consequences of the Biden Administration’s bizarre border policy.
The Black residents of Chester are being supplanted by Guatemalans. A crime ring of New Jersey-based illegals has plagued Springfield.
By the way, Liz Piazza, who is the Republican nominee for the 165th District in the Pennsylvania House and is the subject of the the headline at the last link, was in attendance.
As was reportedly incumbent Jen O’Mara, albeit in the overflow room.
Charles Alexander of Marple, who has been at the forefront of community concerns, emotionally pointed out that human trafficking is occurring in the county. He demanded that council pass an ordinance declaring Delco to be an unsanctuary county. Alexander also demanded it pass ordinances prohibiting its use as staging ground for human trafficking, and to stop globalist non-governmental organizations like HIAS from operating freely.
He specifically blasted Councilman Kevin Madden.
Sharon Devaney, of Haverford, asked if any of the councilmember read the documentation she gave them, April 3, regarding the crippling injuries she received in 2017 when an illegal t-boned her car at Lawrence and Ellis roads.
She said that she had talked for several hours the day before with Donald Rosenberg, a national advocate for victims of crimes by illegals,but had yet to hear from any of council.
Ms. Devaney noted that she could no longer run or ride a bike because of her injuries. She said she felt uncomfortable going to the beach.
She was in tears by the end of her three minutes.
Jim Brennan of Marple was who followed Alexander.
“Everything Charlie said,” was the first words from his mouth.
He segued into the plans for Delco Woods. Rumors fly that the county wants to use its buildings for illegals, albeit it says they just want them to house the criminally insane.
Brennan wanted to know if the county had made any progress in finding an alternative site for the mental facility as they had promised.
He also asked council to remove its designation as a “sanctuary.”
Sixteen-year-old Nick D’Ambrosio spoke on behalf of Marple Civic Youth. He said he was part of the planning for Delco Woods. Nick said that the county promised the teens there would be murals, Wi-Fi and a pavilion where the buildings are. He asked that they keep the entire parcel as open space.
Kevin Coup (phonetic) asked why illegals were not listed on the meeting’s agenda. He said there is real concern about illegal alien housing among the citizenry.
“You need to have recognition of these facts,” he said.
James Small of Marple identified as “lying, cheating politicians” and mimicked the council’s denials.
He said illegals were coming into neighborhoods regardless of what the county said.
Bill from Upper Darby read Psalms 74:17 which describes how God set borders. This means borders are necessary, he said.
Council, despite it being local, can still take steps to protect its people, he said.
He said he was praying for them.
Kathy from Haverford said that 21 beds are not being used at the mental facility at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby. That’s in the range of what council claims would be used at Delco Woods, she said.
A Radnor man said that opaque $36 million contingency expenses were the third highest county budget item and this could be being used for supporting illegals.
Media GOP leader Michael Straw expressed concern that the county would no longer be able to afford a mental health facility once Covid grants ran out.
He wanted to know why council was creating new items when it just levied a 5 percent tax hike.
Kay Dugery, the Republican nominee for the 166th District State House seat, warned of the dangers of a mental health facility in Delco Woods due its proximity to a park and to schools.
“Make one mistake and it could be catastrophic,” she said.
When it came time for council’s response, the normally outspoken Christine Reuther said she had no comments. This brought forth laughs from the audience.
Council Chairwoman Monica Taylor tried to address some of the concerns. She pledged to do better with seating the next time. Also, she said that many of the spending items listed on the agenda were state mandates and are expected to be funded by future grants.
She said that illegal immigration is not a county issue. She insisted that Delaware County is not a sanctuary county.
The sanctuary county claim is traced to the mid-teens and a declaration by Center for Immigration Studies based on Delco declining three detainers by ICE in 2014-2015.
Note the Republicans were running things at this time.
Further, some also claim Delco is a sanctuary because it agreed to participate in a refugee program in 2020 at the request of President Trump.
Perhaps the label is unfair, but Sharon Devaney was crippled by a driver here illegally.
And she notes this driver never suffered consequences.
Kathy from Haverford said last night that if a Delco resident robs Walmart, he gets sent to the “crappy, poorly run prison” but when illegals rob Walmart, they are let go.
Charlie Alexander gave council the solution.
Declare Delco to be anti-sanctuary, and prosecute to the law’s full extent illegals who commit crime. Shout to the world you are doing so.
Also, put every imaginable obstacle in front of the globalist NGOs like HISA.
This isn’t about sending county detectives to cheap hotels. Do these things and you won’t have to.
And this is no longer about Democrat vs Republican. This is about freedom and peace vs fear and misery.
Immigrants and refugees come to America with the intent to respect our laws. Illegals obviously don’t.

Also in attendance were Alfe Goodwin, the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania’s 5th District congressional seat; and, reportedly, State Sen. Timothy P. Kearney (D-26) and Delco GOP Chairman Frank Agovino.
Council members Madden and Elaine Paul Schaefer both left early as was announced at the meeting’s start. In Ms. Schaefer’s case it was to attend an event regarding antisemitism.

Migration Invasion Is Treason, Says Ann Vandersteel — Journalist and mother of six Ann Vandersteel says bad times are coming.
She spoke at yesterday’s, April 25, Keystone Town Hall in Malvern, Pa.
Ms. Vandersteel, along with Michael Yon , has been revealing how Panama is a stage for the human flood entering the United States in complete disdain of our laws.
Most of the invaders are miltary-age men and many are Chinese, she said.
Many have been identified as former Chinese military by facial recognition programs, she says.
The invasion starts at Panama’s inhospitable and dangerous Darien Gap where non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) controlled by globalists have built camps.
These include HIAS, which has a notable presence in Delaware County.
HIAS started as Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
“It’s as Hebrew as Catholic Charities is Catholic,” Ms. Vandersteel said.
Catholic Charities has been implicated in child trafficking.
So has the US government for that matter.
Alejandro Mayorkas worked for HIAS before becoming Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary.
Ms. Vandersteel calls Mayorkas treasonous. He willfully ignores numerous US laws, she said. Mayorkas’ impeachment by the “Republican”-controlled House was ignored by the Democrat-controlled Senate.
The NGO camps destroy the environment and the way of life of the indigenous Embera tribe. The Emberas, for centuries, have shared nature with the Darien, Ms. Vandersteel said.
Her reporting preceded a fire at one camp, she says. The only thing destroyed, though, were the records for every immigrant there.
Fort Clayton on the Panama Canal, once the headquarters for the US Southern Command Network, has been completely taken over by the NGOs she says.
The immigration is controlled by the Mexican drug cartels, Ms. Vandersteel said. The migrants who are women, children and families are often subject to rape, theft and murder.
The billions of dollars controlled by the globalist and drug lords have corrupted places one wouldn’t have expected.
She says the Border Patrol turns a blind eye to the illegal crossings.
Republican Greg Abbott, Texas’ Republican governor, has been bought off, she says. His widely publicized border enforcement was just theater. She says that half of the Texas House has taken money from developers of facilities to house illegals in the state.
She said Abbott has lost all popularity in Texas but praised his adversary Attorney General Ken Paxton, also a Republican.
Ms. Vandersteel, as has Michael Yon, said turmoil is unavoidable. She said the trouble will start with a banking collapse.

In better news, the Valley Forge Classical Academy Charter School for the West Chester School District is expected to open in Exton in 2025.
Charles F. Beatty says they easily surpassed by 500 the 1,000 signatures required to appeal the school board’s rejection and they expect to prevail as all the criteria has been met.
The school will hold 900 students and use the Hillsdale Curriculum.

Strange Vans At Marple Walmart –Charlie Alexander, who has been driving nuts the powers that be in Delaware County, Pa, posted this video, today, April 22, on X. It’s of two unusual matching vans in the Walmart parking lot in Marple. He asked one driver if he was involved in human trafficking without getting an answer. The other vehicle fled.
The driver could have said many things to ease suspicions.
He could have simply said “no”.
He could have said “go away or I’m calling a cop”.
That would have worked too.
But he just sat there and looked nervous.
The vans were were white, unmarked and had what appeared to be ventilating fans on the roof. One had a Pennsylvania plate, and the other had an Illinois one.

Video Reveals NGO Aid To Delco Illegals — Charles Alexander has posted video on X that is proof positive that HIAS Pennsylvania is helping illegals find sanctuary in Delaware County, Pa.
HIAS Pennsylvania is an NGO or “non-government organization.”
NGOs are used by plutocrat globalists to escape rules binding governments to affect policies overwhelmingly unwanted by the citizenry.
Illegals, unlike immigrants, are those who enter our country against our laws.
Some might be otherwise decent people but many are criminals of the worst sort and deserve no sympathy.
Regardless, social order collapses when laws are purposefully ignored by government and misery prevails.

Pondering Illegals At Don Guanella — Rumors fly that Delaware County secretly wants to house illegals at the former Don Guanella buildings on the county’s newly christened 213-acre Delco Woods park between Sproul and Reed roads in Marple Township.
The Marple Commissioners, Monday, April 15, will hold a special meeting where a vote is expected to prevent that by zoning the entire property to open space. This would prohibit any institutional or residential use.
The meeting starts 7 p.m. at the township building 227 S. Sproul Road, Broomall, Pa. 19008.

We are skeptical of any secret plans to use the site to store illegals.
At the last County Council meeting, Councilman Richard R. Womack expressed what struck us as sincere puzzlement about the rumors of housing illegals. He noted that he had never heard any private or public discussion of a plot from his fellows on council.
Councilwoman Elaine Paul Schaefer, a rather sweet person of the crunchy granola type, spoke strongly against any institutional use of the property. She wants it completely open space despite the existing buildings. This ironically puts her on the same side as those concerned about the illegals.
Proof positive to us, though, was the position of Councilman Kevin Madden, who vehemently denied the buildings would be used to house illegals.
“Oh mercy, we aren’t going to use them to house migrants,” Madden said. “WE ARE GOING TO USE THEM TO HOUSE THE CRIMINALLY INSANE!!!! BWHAHAHAHAHAH!!”

Marple Planners Recommend Don Guanella Tract Be All Open Space –The Marple Planning Commission, March 28, voted to recommend that the entire 213-acre county-owned Don Guanella tract between Sproul and Reed roads be zoned open space.
Half the land had been zoned institutional. It was the site of a Catholic Church facility for boys with mental disabilities before the county bought it in 2021.
About 30 people were in attendance due to rumors that it would used by the county to house illegals.
Residents implored the planners to recommend that camping and tents be prohibited on the property.
The Marple Commissioners are scheduled to vote on the matter, April 15.
Public comment will be taken.
