Dems Pretend Tea Party

Independence Hall Tea Party Association PAC President Don Adams reports on the latest ploy by the power-lusting Democrat one-percenters –namely pretending to be tea partyers.

Adams says that a group affiliated with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a corrupt Nevada lawyer, that calls itself Patriot Majority USA  is backing Steve Lonegan in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District Republican Primary.

The seat is now held by Republican Jon Runyan who is not seeking re-election.

Lonegan is the former mayor of Bogota, who has failed many times in a quest for state-wide office, most recently as the Republican nominee in the special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by the death of Frank Lautenberg.

Lonegan trails former Randolph Mayor Tom MacArthur, a conservative businessman, by 11 points in the 3rd District race according to polling by Monmouth University.

Lonegan is generally considered to be the weaker candidate due to his  temperamental nature and proclivity for making embarrassing gaffes, said Adams.

Adams says Patriot Majority has been sending out mail pieces attacking MacArthur for “raising taxes” and “increasing spending” which would anger Republican voters while sending out pieces accusing Lonegan of wanting to eliminate the Department of Education and defund Planned Parenthood which would please most Republican voters.

Patriot Majority uses a minuteman logo, Adams noted.

The godfather of the modern Democrat Party — whose reason for being is to accumulate wealth and power for its members by whatever means — is Saul Alinsky who dedicated his foremost work to Lucifer.

Just because something calls itself an angel of light doesn’t mean that it is. A good rule of thumb is don’t trust Democrats.

Bill Green, who is vice president of the PAC notes “For the record, during his time as a local Mayor and Councilman, MacArthur helped his town remain 1 of only 19 municipalities in NJ–and one of only 213 in the entire nation–to earn a AAA bond rating, while maintaining one of the lowest per capita tax burdens in the Garden State.”

  1. Steve Lonegan has a proven record in fighting for the people of New Jersey! Yes, he can be abrasive, abrupt and direct, but he is a fighter! We need someone like him in Congress. He fought for New Jersey in many capacities on many issues and won and he will continue to fight for what’s right for New Jersey!

  2. Dom Giordano had a debate between the two candidates which I am sure Don Adams heard. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is sending out questionnaires to candidates asking their position on Immigration (the Chamber wants Amnesty for cheap labor). The Chamber has been funding candidates that are opposing Tea Party candidates. MacArthur answered the questionnaire in the proper way. The Chamber has endorsed him because of his answers. Independence Hall is nothing more than a front for the republican establishment attacking anyone who challenges the establishment including Ted Cruz. Since the article mentions Don Adams, try to get him to say one nice thing about any conservative group from AFP to the Tea Party Patriots, One thing Independence Hall is not is a Tea Party group.

    1. I beg to differ. Don Adams may not have agreed with Ted Cruz’s tactics (I did agree with Cruz) But Adams is very much a tea partier in the best sense of the term. He is a consistent conservative. He and his sister Teri took 14 buses to Washington on 9/12/09, an unbelievable feat from iiberalville. They have had rallies at Independence Square where they have brought great conservatives to speak for our pleasure. Teri and Don are fighters for good conservative local candidates. Only people who do not know Don Adams could say he is not a good conservative fighting for the best in this country.

I used to like Lonegan. But his tactics of recent vintage make him seem mean, and lowdown and power hungry.

I am glad that the Independence Tea Party has exposed the Patriot Majority as a phony group. I can always rely on the Independence Tea Party to give me good info. I love their updaters..

    2. Dear Helen,

It appears you are in recovery and I honestly pray that this is the case. Despite our disagreements, I wish you the best of health.

      Now, my response:

On July 4, 2012, The Independence Hall Tea Party honored your own daughter Lisa Esler, head of Delco Patriots, as PA Betsy Ross Activist of the Year.

We were honoring the Delco Patriots as much as the recipient.

We have also honored leaders of other local Tea Party groups over the past years, as well as leaders of other conservative groups–including Rich Davis of the American Sheepdogs.

As far as national Tea Party groups are concerned–are you aware of the money scandals they are involved in and the law suits that the leaders of Tea Party Express and Tea Party Patriots have lodged against one another?

In 2012, when our PAC endorsed Tom Smith over Sam Rohr, you and your daughter Paula had a fit. You didn’t know anything about Mr. Smith, but both of you were furious that we were backing him.

Three months later, you called me to say you were certain that the Chester County Republican Party was trying to undercut the wonderful Tom Smith . (At some point, you realized we were right about Tom.)

Whether you like it or not, businessman Tom MacArthur, who you do not know, is a very decent conservative who, if elected, will do more for the good of this country than you or I will ever be able to do.

BTW, just a few years ago you praised Allen West. Then, when Congressman West voted against the government shutdown in 2011–you turned on him immediately and said you were going to donate to his opponent.

All I can say Helen, is this–you are not the best judge of many things. You tend to support show boaters–people, who like yourself, scream the loudest or angrily tell others off. Steve Lonegan immediately comes to mind.

Well, Ronald Reagan, a real winner, knew how to communicate in a way that persuaded others to his point of view–without screaming or resorting to personal attacks.

President Reagan was sincere. He had style and class. While Tom MacArthur is not Ronald Reagan, he posses Reaganesque qualities. Steve Lonegan comes across like Barry Goldwater at the 1964 Republican convention.

Just curious, Helen, did you vote for Reagan in the 1976 and 1980 primaries? I certainly did.

Again, all the best to you and your family,
      God bless,
      Don Adams, President
      Independence Hall Tea Party PAC

    3. It is well known that Steve Lonegan hired illegal immigrants to perform various work chores on his property

Also, Americans for Prosperity, Let Freedom Ring, and Tea Party Express–which has endorsed Lonegan–support comprehensive immigration reform.
