Relief Request For Fayette Election Recount Filed In Commonwealth Court

Relief Request For Fayette Election Recount Filed In Commonwealth Court –A request for special relief filed with the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania this morning, Oct. 6, for a recount for the May 16 primary election Fayette County commissioner races.

Greg Stenstrom, John R. Marrietta Jr. and Geno Gallo are suing the county and its board of elections alleging that enough errors occurred that could have changed the outcome

Marrietta is a Republican candidate for county commissioner, and Gallo, a Democrat one.

John Marrietta

Stenstrom is an election integrity specialist from Delaware County.

Marrietta’s tally fell short of qualifying for the Nov. 7 general election ballot.

Gallo, however, qualified for his party’s ballot.

Defendants have repeatedly said that there was just “one error” in the election. Stenstrom says, however, “a small sampling of precincts and ballots provided there were dozens, and in 187 mail in ballots alone, there were 17 votes attributed to the wrong candidate for JUST the Republican Commissioners race (a 9.09% error rate), and a 1.72% aggregate error rate when the the 1,487 in person mail in ballots error rate was computed. Election law requires a full recount when the error rate exceeds 0.5% (1 out of 200).”

Faytette County is south of Pittsburgh and Republican stronghold — just like Fulton County, Pa.

Below are their filings.

Stollsteimer Woman-Bullying Is Backfiring

Stollsteimer Woman-Bullying Is Backfiring — The male feminist in his heart hates women. See for example Delaware County, Pa.’s progressive Democrat D.A. Jack Stollsteimer.

Stollsteimer attended the non-partisan Delaware County Bar Association Judicial Retention event, last night, Oct. 4, as did Beth Stefanide, who is the Republican candidate for district attorney.

Beth went to shake his hand, we are told, and Jack went crackers. He berated her screaming “just you wait”. He wagged his finger in her face.

An attorney who works in the district attorney’s office tried to deescalate and later apologized to Beth for his boss’ behavior.

She triggered Mad Jack Stollsteimer

Beth is a mother of three and has a long, well-respected career as an attorney which included time as a prosecutor.

She has refrained from name-calling and personal attacks at Jack.

She has, however, been talking about the 25-percent increase in crime that has occurred on Stollsteimer’s watch, and the general incompetency in Delco’s justice system that has caused death and suffering such as at the prison.

This is obviously hitting a nerve and might indicate the GOP will do better in Delco, Nov. 7, than some think.

And we really doubt Jack would have been this abusive to a man.

By the way, did we call it in 2019 or not regarding the consequences of electing Jack?

Yes, “Progressives” have always hated women.

Texas Sheriff Describes Terrifying Future In Chesco If Border Doesn’t Get Controlled; Gives Endorsement To Roy Kofroth

Texas Sheriff Describes Terrifying Future In Chesco If Border Doesn’t Get Controlled; Gives Endorsement To Roy Kofroth — A J Louderback flew in from Texas to campaign for Republican Roy Kofroth to become Chester County ‘s next sheriff.

He gave a terrifying talk about what is happening on the Mexican border and what looms for Pennsylvania.

It was held last night, Oct. 1, at the Maplecroft Building in Phoenixville.

Louderback served five terms as Jackson County sheriff which is about half-way between Houston and Mexico. He stepped down to run for Congress in 2022 and now serves as a border liaison officer for the State of Texas.

He was invited by former Chesco Sheriff Bunny Welsh who met him while serving at a round-table for local law enforcement leaders during the Trump Administration.

Sheriff Welsh preceded incumbent sheriff, Fredda Maddox, who is stepping down to run for Common Pleas Court judge.

The Democrats have nominated Kevin Dykes, her number two, to replace her.

The election is Nov. 7.

Kofroth ran a glazier business for 40 years along with World Martial Arts Academy starting in 1999. Kofroth was a long-time student of martial arts and had attained a rank of 6th Dan in Tang Soo Do. Upon his retirement as a glazier, he took a security post with the Sheriff’s Office. He was asked to become a deputy and graduated from the Police Academy at age 59, which was twice the age of the next-oldest student.

He left the department in July saying he could not stand what it had become. Morale has fallen through the floor, it’s down 40 deputies and the judges in the courthouse are resorting to private security.

“The office doesn’t need to change,” Kofroth said. “It needs to go back to what it once was.”

He said it was not about money but about the morale.

A J Louderback and Roy Kofroth

“The office was solid and we loved coming back to work,” he said.

Sheriff Welsh introduced Louderback.

She said that six-years ago she declared that every county is a border county and every state is a border state.

The reality of those words is apparent to all but the most blind.

Or those who get their information from The Philadelphia Inquirer or pick your evening news.

Louderback said local elections are far more important than many realize and strongly encouraged a vote for Kofroth.

“You need to support this man,” he said. “I’m in the people judgement business. You got a good man.”

He then went on to describe what was happening on the border.

“I’m going to try to give you the magnitude as what we are facing, ” Louderback said.

He said Jackson County is on what is called a corridor which is a path to a major city — in this case Houston — for trafficked humans. Houston is America’s largest hub for human trafficking.

There are 5,000 cartel operatives in the city, and 16-year-olds can make $1,000 a head in bringing people in.

The typical load is 13 persons.

Louderback said the cartels have far bigger budgets than the local governments of Texas. He noted the rather large room in which the event was being held and said a cartel would have no problem filling it to the ceiling with $100 bills.

He said cartel kingpins live in the United States and their children attend American schools.

Louderback said the cartels fear no Mexican law enforcement or Texas law enforcement or federal law enforcement. What they only fear, he said, are other cartels.

He said they have factory-made armored vehicles with turrets and .50-caliber machine guns.

Louderback said there are running gun battles just across the border every night, and cartel soldiers have been found 80 miles deep into Texas.

“What Biden has done will harm us for decades,” he said.

He said the running gun battles will be coming here.

He said the Darien Gap in southern Panama is the staging area for illegal immigrants from around the world.

Louderback said the camps there produce 6,000 tons of trash a day along with a dozen bodies.

He said the immigrants are often Venezuelan, Chinese and Russian. Their identities are untraceable as those nations don’t share data with us.

Many of these immigrants end up working for corporations responsible for our vital infrastructure.

“My concern is national security,” he said.

Louderback says the border states ceded border rights to the federal government in the 1920s. He said, though, that Texas is fighting federal inaction by building its own border wall — it has built about 40 miles using the same contractor as the one President Trump was using in the construction of his wall — and and laying concertina wire in areas away from ports of entry, where it has control.

Also by using the Texas National Guard.

“Without the Texas National Guard, we’d be in trouble,” he said.

He said, however, that the Biden Administration works to undermine these efforts, and this undermining is premeditated.

“All this is not by mistake,” he said. “It’s designed to get people into this country.”

Louderback said one of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s greatest fears is the Biden Administration arresting a Texas peace officer for “deprivation of rights” regarding an illegal.

He said the Border Patrol estimates that 8 million have entered illegally in the last three years. He says the estimate was honestly made but it’s still just a guess.

Louderback says Eagles Pass, TX has a population of 3,000 but most provide refuge for 17,000 illegals.

“Yet New York complains . . . ” he said. “What we have in Texas is coming here.”

He strongly urged the adoption of E-verify, and that those who understand the magnitude of the danger discuss it with those who still get their information from the 6 o’clock news.

Shout out to Kat and Lisa of AdorableDeplorables.us who staffed a booth with some neat merchandise at the event.

What Happened To Zeeke And Moose?

What Happened To Zeeke And Moose? — Nine months after taking office Chester County Sheriff Fredda Maddox announced the acquisition of Zeeke and Moose to her department’s K-9 unit.

This would have been in September 2020.

Well Zeeke and Moose are no longer there along with most of the units other dogs.

Whatever happened to them? Flyers are being placed around the county

If the K-9 unit had been fully staffed Danelo Cavalcante would not have had his two-week vacation.

On the other hand, Ms. Maddox can’t even keep the human side of department filled.

She’s trying for a promotion to Common Pleas Court judge, Nov. 7, and running as her successor is hand-picked Kevin Dykes.

Running against Dykes is Roy Kofroth. Ms. Maddox is one of 12 candidates for five open seats for for judge. If you want competency don’t vote for the Democrats.

Delco DA Candidate Blasts Prison Conditions; Cites Inmate’s Agnonizing Death

Delco DA Candidate Blasts Prison Conditions — Beth Stefanide who seeks to unseat Jack Stollsteimer as Delaware County D.A. blistered the management of George W. Hill Correctional Facility where neglect led to the agonizing death of inmate Mustafa Jackson.

Jackson, a 25-year-old paraplegic, was found in his cell on Feb. 12. He was laying face-down in an adult diaper with new and used catheters laying around. His autopsy says he died of urosepsis.

Medical authorities believe the condition is extremely painful and his death was excruciating.

Ms. Stefanide made her remarks at a 1 p.m., today Sept. 21, at a press conference outside the courthouse in Media.

She said that if she should win she would want to be certain that those she sends to the prison are provided safety and get necessary medical treatment.

Since the county took over from GEO Group on April 6, 2022 there have been at least three suicides; a wrong inmate was released, and a man was strangled by his cellmate.

The suicide tally — which occurred in the first 10 months — was the most in the prison in a single year since at least 2015.

The prison went private in 1998.

“These inhuman conditions . . . are going to come back to cost us, the taxpayers,” Ms. Stefanide said.

She said that GEO was on the hook for any lawsuits when it ran things.

“Guess what ladies and gentlemen that’s not the case now,” she said.

Beth Stefanide

Taxpayers can be expected to be shelling out big for the death of Mr. Jackson.

Ms. Stefanide demanded an investigation into his death by the state attorney general, along with a full review of prison policies.

“(Mr. Jackson) deserves justice,” she said. “We need to know what happened.”

The county fought tooth-and-nail the release of Mr. Jackson’s autopsy only surrendering when Commonwealth Court ruled against Allegheny County in July in a similar case.

Warden Laura William

Ms. Stefanide wondered how Laura Williams –who only started her career in corrections in 2014 — became warden.

“I have to question whether Laura Williams is cut out for this job,” she said.

She noted Ms. Williams training is in psychology. As deputy warden at Allegheny County Jail she oversaw health care. The health care manager quit specifically citing Ms. Williams administrative style.

Ms. Stefanide said Ms. Williams is being sued by an Allegheny inmate who had his leg amputated after months of neglect.

Ms. Stefanide said that the county is now spending $60 million to run the prison despite a record low population of 820 inmates.

It held 1900 inmates on a budget of $43 million when the county took over.

She said prison management was a serious matter and cited the turmoil, cost and fear in Chester County and southwest Delco that occurred in the two weeks murderer Danelo Cavalcante was on the lam.

County Council candidate Jeff Jones also spoke noting the culpability council has for what has been occurring.

Jones and Ms. Stefanide are Republicans. The election is Nov. 7. Running with Jones for council are Joy Schwartz and Bill Dennon. Running for Common Pleas Court Judge is Dawn Getty Sutphin.

Sheriff Louderback Supporting Roy Kofroth

Sheriff Louderback Supporting Roy Kofroth — AJ Louderback, who served five-terms as sheriff of Jackson County, Texas until his retirement in December 2021, will be special guest at a reception for Roy Kofroth who is running for Chester County sheriff.

It should be a no-brainer that Kofroth wins but there are many voters who have no brains.

Or hearts or lungs, for that matter.

Kofroth is running against Kevin Dykes who is the hand-picked successor of Fredda Maddox, whose single term has been an unmitigated disaster. More than anyone she may have been responsible for murderer Danelo Cavalcante’s two weeks of freedom.

Ms. Maddox is running for county Common Pleas Court judge.

The election is Nov. 7.

Kofroth’s reception is 5-8 p.m., Oct. 1 at the Maplecroft Building, 500 S. Whitehorse Road, Phoenixville, Pa 19460.

GOP Look To Become Even Weaker In Philly

GOP Look To Become Even Weaker In Philly

By Bob Small

The Guv throws a spanner in the works. Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has thrust himself into this November’s City Council Election in Philadelphia.

He endorsed the current City Council at-Large incumbent, from the Working Families Party, one Kendra Brooks.  She is also a member of the leftish DSA (Democratic Socialist).

Bob Brady, former Democratic Representative and current chair of the Democratic Party of Philadelphia, commented on this.  He’s stated that Shapiro’s endorsement of a non-Democrat probably violates state party rules.  It was unclear what their response could be.

On the other hand, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Sharif Street said  “He can support who he chooses”, so this may be a tempest in a teapot.

Ms. Brooks was elected in 2019, the first non-Republican or non-Democrat to win an at=large seat in over 70 years. It probably helped that she was endorsed by Larry Krasner and Elizabeth Warren.

Ms. Brooks’ campaign  says they are planning a fundraiser with the Governor.

Ms. Brooks and Shapiro have worked together before, including a campaign ad last year..

Ms. Brooks has said she doesn’t believe the Republicans deserve governing power in Philadelphia.

This may hurt the GOP more than the Democrats for two reasons.  First, the WFP is closer to the Dems than the GOP.  Secondly, and more importantly, there are seven at large City Council seats, with two reserved for the minority party.  Both the GOP and the WFP have two candidates.  Since 9 of the 10 District Council seats don’t have a Republican opposition, the only other Republican who can win, and probably will, is District 10 incumbent Brian O’Neill.

Fayette County Election Machine Update

Fayette County Election Machine Update — A request for an emergency injunction was denied this afternoon, Aug. 31, by Fayette County (Pa) Common Pleas Court Judge John F. Wagner to prevent voting machines and other materials from being flown away to who knows where.

Wagner cited lack of standing by plaintiffs, said plaintiff Gregory Stenstrom.

Stenstrom, an election integrity activist from Delaware County, filed jointly with Jon R. Marrietta, Jr.

Marrietta was a candidate in the May 16 Republican primary battle for Fayette County commissioner.

Marrietta’s 5,206 tally was 121 behind Scott Dunn and 554 behind Dave Lohr.

The top two advance to November.

Wagner denied the injunction request.

He told the county representatives, however, “I don’t need to issue you an order to tell you that no election machines or materials are to leave Fayette County.”

Stenstrom said that multiple whistleblowers reported that a medium-sized cargo jet and Gov. Josh Shapiro’s Beech King Air made unscheduled landings about 9:30 a.m. at Connellsville Airport, and that aircrews said they were there to load county election materials onto the cargo jet.

Shapiro was supposedly attending an unpublicized meeting regarding a project, said Stenstrom.

He was reportedly at the meeting for a short time then disappeared for about four hours.

The planes were flown to Arnold Palmer Airport in Latrobe about 25 miles away, Stenstrom says.

The county says the error rate in the May 16 primary for six selected precincts was 1 of 1,489 Republican ballots or .07 percent.

Stenstrom and Marrietta say the error rate was 9.09 percent for mail-in ballots and 1 percent for in-person ballots for an aggregate of 1.72 percent. They say the law requires a county-wide recount for an error rate over .5 percent.

They had asked that certification of the primary be delayed but the county board of elections certified the results last night in an unadvertised meeting.

Stenstrom says this violated the Sunshine Act.

He said they will be appealing to Commonwealth Court.

Stenstrom said he is helping Marrietta because of his integrity and courage.

Fayette County Election Machines Taken To Airport??

Fayette County Election Machines Taken To Airport?? — A request for an emergency injunction was filed this morning, Aug. 31, to stop Faytette County, Pa.’s election machines from being airlifted to parts unknown.

Petitioners are Jon R. Marrietta, Jr., a candidate for Fayette County commissioner, and election integrity activist Gregory Stenstrom.

“Plaintiffs were notified by a whistleblower at the local airport that all Fayette County Voting machines for all 77 precincts are being removed from Fayette County this morning, and a plane large enough to fit all machine and election equipment is waiting on tarmac,” the plaintiffs say.

Faytette County is south of Pittsburgh and Republican stronghold — just like Fulton County, Pa.
