Fayette County Plaintiffs Want Change Of Venue

Fayette County Plaintiffs Want Change Of Venue — We just heard from Gregory Stenstrom about the latest from Fayette County, Pa.

He says that he has yet to hear back from Commonwealth Court regarding a motion for reconsideration regarding the claim he along with candidates John R. Marrietta Jr. and Geno Gallo that enough errors were made in the primary that a recount is warranted.

He says they are now asking for a change of venue.

The county Common Pleas Court has ruled against them.

Marrietta is a Republican and Gallo is a Democrat.

He says, ironically, that polls are indicating Gallo and Marrietta are both on track to unseat two long-time incumbents. Gallo did make the Democrat ballot in the primary. Marrietta is running a write-in campaign.

Faytette County is south of Pittsburgh and Republican stronghold — just like Fulton County, Pa.

Deputy Zeke Caged For 4 Months

Deputy Zeke Caged For 4 Months — GOP Chester County (Pa) Sheriff Candidate Roy Kofroth points out in this ad that the department under Fredda Maddox and her subordinate Kevin Dykes separated a valuable K-9 from his partner and put him on ice for four months.

Once you get past the indifference and cruelty look at the stupidity and incompetence.

Ms. Maddox is now seeking to be a county Common Pleas Court judge and Dykes is now looking to be sheriff.

Vote for Kofroth for sheriff. Don’t vote for Ms. Maddox for anything.

If the Sheriff Department under Fredda hadn’t gutted its award-winning K-9 unit, Chesco Prison escapee and multiple-murderer Danelo Cavalcante would not have terrorized the county for two weeks.

Here’s the ad:

Joy Schwartz Explains Delco Crisis On Dawn Stensland

Joy Schwartz Explains Delco Crisis On Dawn Stensland — Joy Schwartz, one of three Republican candidates for Delaware County (Pa) Council, guested Oct. 18 on The Dawn Stensland’s show.

Joy taught in the William Penn School District before retiring and noted that she is the daughter of immigrant parents. That’s from whence comes her love for America.

The interview was wide-ranging. Joy noted that the arrogant intransigency of the present county administration regarding voting concerns are fueling widespread doubt in our elections.

Delco is appealing right-to-know requests they have lost regarding how it runs elections, for example.

Why would they do that? The obvious reason is the ugliest.

Joy noted that Democrat spending over the last four years is going to give Delco a crushing property tax increase.

“They have been floating bonds our their capital improvement projects,” she said. “In 2023, they borrowed $60 million. If they remain in power, God forbid, they will borrow $70 million next year. And this is at higher interest rates.”

She said that this will require — at minimum — a 30 percent increase in the county real estate tax bill to resolve.

“For some people this may be a drop in the bucket, but in Delaware County we are talking about a lot of townships and municipalities that have very hard-working people in them that don’t make a lot of money,” she said. “A $2,000 increase in their real estate taxes for the county is significant. “Especially when you pile that on top of practically every single school district in the county hiking up their taxes.”

She noted that her hometown of Upper Darby — solidly under Democrat control — is on the brink of bankruptcy.

“When people can’t afford to stay in their homes, and when they start not be able to pay their taxes, and they’re becoming tax delinquent, we are talking about a disaster happening in Delaware County,” she said.

Joy Schwartz withe her former student Kenesha Gales at the Trainer Baconfest.

People are hurting in Upper Darby and Lansdowne, she said.

She brought up Council’s hairbrained scheme to spend $49 million per year over 16 years to “fight’ climate change.

“Now I like parks and trails as much as the other person but right now we have serious issues with homelessness, with drugs, with crime on our streets,” she said. “Those are priorities that are just being thrown away.”

If you’re a resident of Upper Darby, Lansdowne or anywhere in Delco that isn’t filthy rich, prepare to suffer if this crowd keeps power.

Vote for Joy, Bill Dennon and Jeff Jones, Nov 7, unless you like misery.

Pink-Haired Parkside Sunday Stalker Hits Mailboxes

Pink-Haired Parkside Sunday Stalker Hits Mailboxes — We heard that a pink-haired lady was going through mailboxes in Parkside Borough, yesterday.

Yesterday, Oct. 22, was Sunday which means there was no mail delivery.

A resident confronted her and she fled. He called Parkside Police. They never showed but they told the resident she had been delivering Democrat campaign literature.

It’s illegal to put stuff in mailboxes for which no postage has been paid, including campaign literature.

The complainant wanted to give a statement but the Parkside Police refused to take it.

And why are some (Democrat) Parkside Council members trying to shut down the volunteer fire department?

Nov. 7 is Election Day in Pennsylvania. If you want a nice, safe place to work and live don’t vote for the woke and stupid.

Motion For Reconsideration In Fayette County Case

Motion For Reconsideration In Fayette County Case — A motion for reconsideration for Marrietta, Gallo, Stenstrom v. Fayette County, Pa. has been filed in Commonwealth Court, Greg Stenstrom has informed us.

We have written about the matter and it is important the judiciary starts taking election integrity concerns seriously.

More than half of Americans think cheating affects elections, according to some polls.

Winds of change in Swarthmore?

Winds of change in Swarthmore?

By Bob Small

We attended a  “meet and greet”, Oct. 19, for the two GOP Candidates in the Swarthmore Borough Special Election, Nov. 7.

This election was necessitated by the resignation of two Democratic Borough Council members, Sarah Graden and Francine Halderman.

It’s been many years since the Republican Party has meant anything in Swarthmore. There was an enthusiastic audience, despite the Phillies playing in the NCLS.

The Republicans are Rob M. Jordan and Bill Pearce.  They explained why they were running in a letter published  in the Oct. 20 Swarthmorean.

“Our Council’s financial decisions are causing great concern.  Overspending, a draw down  of reserves, and the Mayor’s ominous warning of a looming budget crisis have left us burdened with a 9 percent tax hike in 2022 and a 10 percent tax hike this year – with an even higher jump possibly to come shortly.”

They also mentioned  “the erosion of civility and accountability in leadership”.

They noted that the GOP is not merely the “party of grievance”. The candidates said they want to “preserve our cherished Tree Canopy from PECO Deception”.

They said they also want to“increase the exceptional quality of  life that defines our community,” and to embrace “intelligent zoning and forward thinking planning.”

They said at the event they feared Swarthmore would turn into Lansdowne if the current board’s agenda was not checked.

Rob Jordan is a Villanova University Economics Graduate and has worked as a senior healthcare executive.  He is a member of the Don Guanella Park Master Plan Advisory Committee and is president of the Board of Directors of Saint Joseph Family Hope emergency housing center.

Bill Pearce is a graduate of Drexel in Chemical Engineering. He also has a masters of education from Rutgers, and an MBA from Tulane.

After a 35 year career in what he describes as “global business development”, he moved to Swarthmore.  At the time of COVID, he joined the Widener University SBDC(Small Business Development Center) where he is a business consultant and international trade specialist.

He recently joined the Goldman Sachs 10 K Small Business Program at Community College of Philadelphia.

We’ve had two decades of one-party rule in Swarthmore.  As long as there’s only one choice, whether Democrat or Republican, this  feels more like dictatorship than democracy.

Does a Republican have a shot in Swarthmore?

Attend and find out.

Just You Wait Missy Stollsteimer

Just You Wait Missy Stollsteimer — Delaware County D.A. Jack Stollsteimer threw another fit this time using the threat of arrest to squelch a confrontation between a citizen and a Democrat legislator.

We suspect Jack would have let it go if the legislator was a R, as he should have unless the pol was being harassed while trying to walk away.

But that is not the case here.

Activist Joe Dychala and State Sen. John Kane exchanged heated words at the Oct. 14 shredding event at Northley Middle School in Aston, Pa.

Joe was upset that Kane — the union boss Democrat who represents the 9th District in which Joe lives –wasn’t letting his staff describe how Gov. Josh Shapiro enacted his motor voter mandate.

Not just without legislative approval but the actual legal mechanism he used, which is not just a matter of curiosity but concern.

Kane didn’t like Joe’s persistence so rather than have a discussion about a legitimate concern with a constituent, he raised his voice and got in Joe’s face.

Joe says Kane was inches away.

Stollsteimer was watching. Rather than tell everyone to chill, he threatened Joe with arrest.

“Arrest me for what? The First Amendment?” Joe asked.

Apparently yes, as Stollsteimer did not backtrack.

So Joe stuck his finger in the D.A.’s face, said “Just you wait, missy”, and walked away.

Well played, Joe. Well played.

We think Jack has a new nickname.

It stems from this: https://billlawrenceonline.com/stollsteimer-woman-bullying-is-backfiring/

He really doesn’t have the temperament to be a prosecutor, much less the big boss.

Vote for Beth Stefanide this Nov. 7.

By the way, it’s not like Jack is some grouchy old guy who does a good job. He’s been a disaster since taking office. Places once considered safe are getting scary, juvenile offenders are being incarcerated where they shouldn’t, and the adult prison is almost a daily human rights violation.

Yoda Endorses Chesco GOP

Yoda Endorses Chesco GOP — Yoda –the K-9 who put the bite on multiple murderer Danelo Cavalcante after he climbed out of horrifically mismanaged Chester County Prison, Aug. 31, and wandered the woods of Southeast Pennsylvania for two weeks — has come out strong for the Chesco GOP ticket in the Nov. 7 election.

Watch it here:

What we’re waiting upon is for some progressive Democrat to post that it really isn’t the dog saying those words.

That will make our day.

Hat tip Bunny Welsh.
