Gros Michel Banana William Lawrence Sr Omnibit 12-13-19

The most popular variety of banana for more than a century was the Gros Michel banana. Panama disease nearly wiped it out in the 1950s and made it impractical to grow in Central America hence just about all bananas exported to the United States became the Cavendish variety, which has a significantly different taste.

So what did Gros Michel taste like? Exactly like any artificially flavored banana confection. When synthetic fruit flavors were developed in the 19th century, the banana one was based on the Gros Michel. Flavor makers never saw the need to update it.

Frankly banana candy always seemed tastier to us than the real thing.

Did you know that Wilmington, Del. is the major banana port in North America? Sure you did.

Happiness starts with a smile

Happiness starts with a smile — Good friend Katie sent us this link to a Coca-Cola ad by a Belgian advertising agency in which an actor randomly starts laughing on a train.

The tagline is “happiness starts with a smile.” May you start this Valentine’s Day with one.

11 11 Powerful Day Universal Year

11 11 Powerful Day — This came in our email. It’s been a while since we had a good “Off the Internet” and we wish to share for your enlightenment. We don’t know who Elaine is.

That every time you glance at your phone it seems to be exactly 11:11?

That repeating 1s are popping up all around you – on receipts, license plates, mile markers and digital notifications?

→ Well, it’s no coincidence.

This year more than ever before, countless people all over the planet have reported seeing the 11:11 code repeatedly appear in their daily lives.

It’s a worldwide phenomenon that’s intensifying as we approach the 11th day, of the 11th month, of an 11 Universal Year (2+0+1+8=11)…

11:11:11

That’s right. This year, November 11th is more magical than you ever could’ve imagined…

→ It’s the most powerful manifesting day of the decade.

11 is the Master Number of heightened intuition, supernatural abilities and miraculous creation.

In sacred geometry, the Number 11 represents two pillars, a gateway, which opens a direct portal between divine inspiration and physical materialization…

And on November 11th, 2018, the 11:11:11 portal flies wide open, just days after tomorrow’s Scorpio New Moon darkens the skies and opens limitless possibilities.

This is it, Elaine.

Get ready for a massive expansion of your personal power and abundance potential!

→ We’re talking manifestation at lightning speed.

There is no doubt that something is shifting in the Universe right now. Can you feel it? We sure can…

The last time we experienced this 11:11:11 portal was back in 2009. Before that, it was 1910! That means over 99% of the world’s population have only ever experienced one or two of these days in their lifetimes.

No wonder the entire planet is feeling the effects of this incredibly rare vibration and waiting with great anticipation for November 11th, 2018 to arrive!

11 11 Powerful Day

Shia LaBeouf Opera Predicted Actor’s Crazed Behavior

Shia LaBeouf Opera — Hollywood superstar Shia LaBeouf is in the news again for insane, violent public behavior. Apparently the inauguration of President Trump has sent him over the edge. The below article was originally posted on Dec. 11, 2014 and it is quite newsworthy so we are republishing it.

We were wrong about Rob Cantor though.

Shia LaBeouf Opera Ponderment
He really is nuts.

Musician Rob Cantor — whose name we expect will be as recognizable as anyone’s by next year — wrote a goofy song concerning actor Shia LeBeouf as the protagonist of a horror film.

He made a cartoon of it and put it on YouTube in 2012 where it became moderately popular.

Well, someone cooked up the idea of making a highly polished live version of it featuring an orchestra, choir and extremely skilled professional dancers.

LeBeouf himself even makes an appearance.

Did everybody get their standard rates in making it? LeBeouf certainly didn’t. It involved at least two dozen professionals and took more than a few man-hours.

It’s free on YouTube  and we didn’t see any adverts when we watched so the cash certainly isn’t flowing in from it.

It’s gotten 6.9 million views as of this writing, however, so Cantor’s visibility has increased and LeBeouf has shown himself to be a good sport. Count them as beneficiaries. We guess money isn’t everything.

Anyway, if you are one of the 6.9931 billion who hasn’t seen it, here it is:

By Paul Genova

I haven’t said too much about this election since the start …. but this is how I feel ….

I’m noticing that a lot of you aren’t graciously accepting the fact that your candidate lost.   In fact you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those of us who voted for Trump.  Some of you are apparently “triggered” because you are posting how “sick” you feel about the results.

How did this happen you ask?

You created “us” when you attacked our freedom of speech.
You created “us” when you attacked our right to bear arms.
You created “us” when you attacked our Judeo/Christian beliefs.
You created “us” when you constantly referred to us as racists.
You created “us” when you constantly called us xenophobic.
You created “us” when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.
You created “us” when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.
You created “us” when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors.
You created “us” when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.
You created “us” when you attacked our flag.
You created “us” when you took God out of our schools.
You created “us” when you confused women’s rights with feminism.          You created “us” when you began to emasculate men.
You created “us” when you decided to make our children soft.
You created “us” when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.
You created “us” when you attacked our way of life.
You created “us” when you decided to let our government get out of control.
“You” created “us” the silent majority.
You created “us” when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.
You created “us” when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn’t remove your hat during our National Anthem.
And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.
And we did it with ballots, not bullets.
With ballots, not riots.
With ballots, not looting.
With ballots, not blocking traffic.
With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of “us”.

“YOU” created “US”.
It really is just that simple. Liberals Created Trump Voters

Young Lady Explains Trump Support

Young Lady Explains Trump Support — A young lady was asked how she could vote for Trump, a “misogynist, a racist and a bigot”.

Here is her answer:

Young Lady Explains Trump SupportBecause I use my head to research and find out what candidates really are, not what the media wants me to think.
Because Donald Trump has more women in executive and managerial positions than any comparable company, which tells me he is not a misogynist.
Because he pays these women the same or more than their male counterparts, which tells me looks for capacity and skills in people, not color, gender or race.
Because he fought the West Palm Beach City Council to be able to open his newly purchased club, so he could include blacks and Jews as members, who had been banned until then. This tells me he is not a racist.
Because he has raised wonderful children who have turned out to be outstanding, hard-working and compassionate adults. He must be doing something right.
Because his economic plans makes sense, are conservative in nature, and I vote based of what is best for my family, my friends and my country.
Because everybody, the left and the right are afraid of him, the media is trying to destroy his image, and even foreign governments are voicing their opinions, so he must be doing something right. Clean house maybe?
Because I want a Supreme Court that will uphold the Constitution, not behave as minions of the administration. I have had enough with judges who are more like political activists than law enforcers.
Because I fear for my family’s safety if the current trend of not confronting blatant terrorism continues – which is a threat to our way of life.
Because I am fed up with the rampant corruption of this administration. Accountability in government is paramount, and as this administration has demonstrated, it is a foreign concept to them.
Because I am fed up with the political correctness gone wild, and because Trump is not afraid to say what everybody thinks but does not dare to say. A thug is a thug, regardless of color, and that’s it.
Because it is about time someone puts America’s interests ahead of other countries.
Because I know he recognizes and embraces America’s exceptionalism, and will not tour the World apologizing for who we are. That tells me he is a patriot.
Because, unlike HRC, he has actually held a job, worked hard and achieved success.
And last, but not least, because I am more offended by what Hillary does than by what Trump says.
