Grooming At Avon Grove

Grooming At Avon Grove — Attorney and activist Carmela Ciliberti, whose video expose about grooming at Avon Grove’s Fred S. Engle Middle School was reported here, has filed a right-to-know request to obtain information to perform an audit to determine the extent of failure presented by this specific incident and identify systemic issues within the school district in Chester County, Pa.

“The result of this audit will inform whether a public complaint is submitted in accordance with Avon Grove’s Policy Manual Code 906 – Public Complaints,” she said.

She included the below exhibits with her request and asked that what is going on at the school be shared far and wide.

  1. It’s everywhere. It’s in Penn Delco.

Sun Valley HS, where boys can “be” girls and Northley MS, where girls can “be” cats.

The so called “trophy for participation” generation is now “teaching” our youth of America. These aren’t our parents and grandparents public schools.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

  2. Too bad we aren’t in the Central Bucks School District. Watch this fabulous speech by Superintendent Superintendent Abram Lucabaugh which he gave at their school board meeting on June 14, 2023. He SHOULD be an example for all other superintendents to follow but instead he gets criticized by the hatemongers. Dr. Lucabaugh truly is phenomenal. Wouldn’t it be nice if he were placed in charge of the Department of Education in PA?

Please forward this video to others. This man is truly incredible.

    1. I don’t know why it said the video doesn’t exist. I just watched it:

But here is the transcription of Dr. Lucabaugh’s speech:

“I’ve always championed literacy and I believe that every student in this district should have access to literature in our libraries that speaks to their journey as a human being. I believe every student deserves to see themselves in the books they read and feel like someone else understands what it’s like to be in their shoes. There is affirmation and power in that. But make no mistake about this…I will defend students and defend against anything contributing to the sexualization of students.
I will never condone any behavior or any decision that promotes the sexualization of children in this district and I make no qualms about it. That’s why, as superintendent, I do not support the district giving students access to graphic images of sexual acts being performed or reading books that teach students how to set up accounts on apps designed for casual sex (inaudible). I do not support having images in our libraries that are so lurid that even newspapers and media outlets aren’t permitted to publish them because they violate FCC guidelines. It’s why, as superintendent I’ve reported employees who sexualize children to our district attorney. Because no student, regardless of how they identify or whom they love should be subjected to sexualization by their school district or any of its employees. And it’s why as superintendent I will never support the distribution of sex paraphernalia to students at any age or any orientation at a prom or any event. And my stances on these issues have absolutely nothing to do with the sexual orientation of students or with politics for that matter. They have everything to do about basic propriety. And my beliefs don’t make me a hate-monger, contrary to what is being bantered about in this community. And they certainly don’t make me anti-LGBTQ. And they don’t place me in a crusade against literacy and they certainly don’t equate me with hurting students.
Placing so much focus on students’ sexual orientation actually reduces them. Our students are so much more than that. They are talented artists, athletes, scholars, musicians, builders, writers, inventors, performers and innovators and we need to celebrate the totality of their existence. And because I hold these (bullies ???) as superintendent I’ve been maligned, I’ve been misquoted, I’ve been lied about, I’ve been filmed in board meetings and then those turn into Tik Toks, defaming me publicly. I’ve been shredded in social media daily, defamed in political cartoons by local artists, I’ve been castigated in countless newspaper articles, I’ve been accused of subscribing to partisan politics, and I’ve had my actions equated with intent of Nazism by one of my own bosses. Despite that I’m going to continue to support every student in this district from sexualization regardless of your orientation. It’s what should be expected from anyone in education, especially a superintendent. It’s what I will continue to do on behalf of every child in this district.
It’s been an honor to meet and interact with so many of our students this year and I wish I could personally interact with all 18,000 but I can’t. It’s impossible but here’s what I’ll tell you. To every student out there – gay, straight, trans, rich, poor, challenged or struggling – know that you have a place here in this district. We care about you, we’re glad you’re here, and you deserve to have every opportunity to expand upon the unique gifts and talents you possess. And to every employee in this district I do expect you to act in defense of our students when they need you and when you witness an injustice occurring, and I want you to do so with courage and conviction.
And for the record I stand by every single statement that I’ve made here tonight and I’m not going to allow my words to continue to be distorted, I’m not going to allow my reputation to continue to be defamed and maligned, and I’m not going to allow my beliefs to be disparaged. You can disagree with me and I respect that. Respectful dissent can and will make our community strong; protecting our kids will make it even stronger. I appreciate the time. Thank you.”
