Lt. Perkner Gets Big Party — Lt. Ralph Perkner celebrated his 103rd birthday, this morning, Feb. 25 at the Mission BBQ in Springfield, Pa courtesy of Honor Flight Philadelphia. Ralph is a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was escorted to the event by fire engines and motorcyclists. An arch of honor was formed by trucks from the Rose Tree and Clifton Heights volunteer fire companies in front of the restaurant in the Olde Sproul Village Shopping Center on Baltimore Pike.
