Biden Wants Bobby Dead?

Biden Wants Bobby Dead? — The Biden Administration continues to refuse Secret Service protection for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his independent run for the presidency.

This is requiring Bobby to spend his own money for the obviously needed security. This prevents him from paying for other campaign costs like staff and advertising.

If something should happen to the son of Robert and nephew of John we are not sure how the nation will handle it but we are certain as to who will be responsible.

Meanwhile, Nikki Haley is going to get Secret Service for her desperate kamikaze run against The Donald.

Go figure.

Why does Biden want Bobby dead, anyway?

Well, here’s a video of his uncanny prediction as to how the Covid vaccine drama would unfold.

The What If Question In The Presidential Race

The What If Question In The Presidential Race

By Bob Small

The question of what would happen if either of the two leading Presidential Contenders left the race keeps coming up.  This is due to Biden’s age and the continuing court dramas regarding Donald Trump.

My personal prediction is that neither of those candidates will be there in November. Of course, my prediction was that the Eagles would win the 2023 Super Bowl.  This is an article covering the various possibilities:   What if Biden or Trump suddenly leaves the 2024 race?

In the “another one bites the dust” section of the Political News, Marianne Williamson has left the Democratic race.

The 71- year old philosophized “I read a quote the other day that said sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful, too,” the 71-year-old said. She had earlier said that the US “needed a season of repair”, but was unable to convince more than 4 percent of the Democratic voters that she was the person for the job.

In another report, she said  “As of today, we are suspending our campaign. While the level of our failure is obvious to all, a level of success is real nonetheless.”

Not sure what that means either.

This lack of clarity may have been the story of her campaign or non-campaign.

Even as she was ending her campaign, she had a running battle with clarity

“As with every other aspect of my career over the last 40 years, I know how ideas float through the air forming ever new designs,” she said.

She finished with only 2 percent of the vote,

The only well-known Democratic candidate remaining is Dean Phillips, a Minnesota congressman, whose star may begin rising now, as it becomes clearer and clearer to the Democratic party that Jospeh Biden should not be running in 2024.  This may also help RFK, Jr, notwithstanding whether he runs as a Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, etc.

Maybe the Dems need to review their options from among the Politics1.com Democratic Candidate list.

The PA 140th Special Election

The PA 140th Special Election

By Bob Small

When Democratic State Representative John Galloway was elected to a judgeship, he resigned as state representative for PA 140 and caused another special election.

PA 140 is in the southeasternmost corner of Bucks County, next to New Jersey.  Prior to this election, the PA House was D 101 and GOP 100.

The candidates were Democrat Jim Prokopiak and Republican Candace Cabannas.

The winner, Prokopiak, ran on more funding for K-12 education, raising the minimum wage, and safeguarding access to abortion.

Prokopiak’s victory gives the Dems a 102-100 margin.   He had served on the Falls Township Board of Supervisors.  A Levittown attorney, he was elected to the Pennsbury School Board.

Ms. Cabanas, was a home health care worker.

Yet another GOP  Lawmaker, Joe Kerwin  of the 125th, is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, currently serving in East Africa. He is still in office but cannot vote on bills. Why a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard is serving in East Africa is another question entirely. Pennsylvania National Guard  However, it seems they are deployed overseas on a regular basis.

Because of Pennsylvania’s importance in the national race, our races are receiving coverage from national websites that they normally would not.

An example is MSNBC.

“Republicans continue to lie about the last election and are intent on supporting an insurrectionist as their nominee, ever since 60-plus legislators signed a letter urging Congress to throw out the votes of Pennsylvania’s voters,” said state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, who represents parts of Philadelphia. “Their current idea is putting the Auditor General in charge of auditing all future elections — a man who himself is an election denier.”

Couldn’t it just be that the Democrats had a stronger candidate in a district that has been Democrat since 1969?  But then the issue would be local rather than national and would require more insight, rather than the easy payoff.

Rollan Roberts Has Left The Race

Rollan Roberts Has Left The Race

By Bob Small

Rollan Roberts has left the race.

The West Virginia businessman had been seeking the Republican nomination for president. A seventh-place finish in the Iowa Caucus along with an unfortunate viral video showing him not immediately rushing to his pregnant wife’s assistance meant that it was time to turn off the lights.

His wife, Rebecca Lea, when she collapsed while he was making an announcement.

She turned out to be fine and Rollan really didn’t seem to get what was happening.

It looked bad, though, and this, unlike his policy proposals, is what went all over the internet.

The 14 pages of “Policies of the Roberts Presidency”, include some rather striking ideas.

“No one will pay tax on the first $40-60,000 they earn depending on how they file,” Roberts says. “The Flat Tax Rate Table is paid only on monies earned in that range. “

“All existing student loan debt will be settled at a reduced rate and paid by the public endowments of institutions that used public money to enrich themselves,” Roberts says.

Hypocritical Harvard’s $50.9 billion endowment being used to make good on the poor suckers trapped in life-long debt after spending fortunes on worthless degrees?

We like that.

Roberts also wants to extend the school day until 5 p.m. for high school students. The high school stuff would be from 8 a.m. until noon and the college or trade school stuff the remainder.

Roberts “grew up in the holler of Beaver, West Virginia” and received his MBA from Liberty University, and DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from California Intercontinental University.

He is the head of the U.S. Center for Diplomacy .

Roberts noted that Donald Trump is “the predominate front runner”.

Possibly some of his ideas will outlive his candidacy.

Change Starts With Committee Seats, Delegates

Change Starts With Committee Seats, Delegates

Dear Editor

I watched the same Aston GOP Committee members run uncontested for the past decade or more while we lost the 161st State House, the State Senate in the 9th, the 5th Congressional District, our check and balance in the US Senate to John Fetterman, our once solid Moderate Republican County Council to Radical Progressive Democrats and now a decade of the two tyrants Tom “lockdown the state” Wolf and Josh “lockup the nuns” Shapiro.

Not to mention no less than four of them hold Township Commissioner seats. That is a full discussion for another day. The loss of services, property tax increases and the continued burden of the 1 person income tax that is supposed to keep property taxes low are met with residents overwhelmed and businesses closing, leaving or simply not arriving.

I believe Aston Township has better days ahead, I believe that because I want to serve the community that has benefited me in so many ways. Living in the township since 1985 I have spent the majority of my working years employed in Aston including eleven years at my previous job in the 7th Ward until 2018 and have worked in the 6th Ward since.

Vote for Joseph B Dychala and Wendy Ann Willauer for Aston Township Republican 7th Ward Committee Man and Committee Woman in the Pennsylvania Primary this April. Also please vote Wendy Ann Willauer for Delegate to represent Delaware County at the Republican National Convention on the same ballot.

United We Stand.

Joseph B Dychala

Pennsylvania Lincoln Dinner Gossip

Pennsylvania Lincoln Dinner Gossip — Here’s some gossip from the Pennsylvania Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner, Feb. 2.

When keynote speaker Ben Carson threw a zinger at Nikki Haley, 10 state committee people stood up and left. This included Philly GOP Chairman Vince Fenerty and his table.

York County District Attorney Dave Sunday was solidly endorsed in his bid to become state attorney general. Tough break Craig Williams who reportedly is still circulating petitions.

Bucks County Chairwoman Pat Poprik anticipates strong voter turnout. It was revealed, though, that she and others in leadership are being sued by “the far right MAGA group there” over access to petition signing meetings.

Whoever could they be? Betcha they are friends of ours. Go get ’em Barry, Dawn and Andy.

There are primary battles in Bucks for delegates, committee seats and, of course, congress.

A primary battle for congress looms in Delco as well for the the 5th District seat held by Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon. It’s between Dasha Pruett and Alfie Goodwin. The Delco GOP has endorsed Alfie.

In Philly, Sam Oropeza-backed Patrick Gushue is taking on party-backed Aizaz Gill to unseat Democrat Kevin Boyle in the 172nd District State House race.

The competition is good news and shows that Pennsylvania’s GOP is far from dead.

One point of concern, however, is Montgomery County. They are short committee people and can’t find candidates for four State House seats in the eastern part of the county.

On the other hand, there is battle for the Swarthmore Western committeeman seat between Bob Small and Jim Rivello.

It is speculated that Rivello is being backed by “far right MAGA groups.”

Bob, however, is one of the excellent writers at BillLawrenceOnline.com and we hope all vote for him.

Senate candidate Dave McCormick gave an hour-long speech which was apparently well received. We are going to have trouble filling in his block, and we mean for the general election.

We like air conditioning and we don’t want crickets on our menu.

By the way, Oropeza, who just ran for Philly Council, and David Oh, who had been a long-time member of Philadelphia Council, are moving to Delco this year. They cite better schools for their kids and less crime.

Free And Equal Debate Series Has Begun

Free And Equal Debate Series Has Begun

By Bob Small

The Free and Equal Debate Series, founded by the Free and Equal Elections Foundation, has been presenting presidential debates since 2008.  The major party candidates have never participated but those of the three largest alternative parties — Constitution, Green, and Libertarian — have. The 2024 debate season began Jan. 18.

This debate was moderated by F&E founder Christina Tobin and Kwame Jackson.

The four candidates were Gabriel Cornejo, Frankie Lozada, Stephen Lyons, and Jason Palmer.

These were selected by the Free and Equal voting procedure, explained on their website. Hopefully, the Feb. 29 debate will have more diversity. It can be watched on Rumble and information about it can be found here: https://freeandequal.org/debate/2024-free-equal-presidential-debate/

Concerning the first debate, Gabriel Cornejo of Nevada says he’s running because “our ship is sinking” and he’d “rather stop the people drilling the holes causing the leak than enjoy the music on the way down.”

He describes how, in support of a classmate undergoing chemotherapy, he and 13 other classmates and teachers shaved their heads “to let our friend know he wasn’t alone.”

His Freedom Dividend includes a “$1,000 a month  for every person over 18 to spend”, as a way of operating the country like a business.

Steve P. Lyonsof Maryland is the only candidate to admit failing second grade, though probably not the only one.  He has a list of 19 issues. He says if he becomes president he will prepare for the worst.

“I will have a meeting with all governors, and we will put a 5,000 person task force in place per state,” he says.

He also says he will buy back farmland.

“We will buy every farmland that is up for sale and put legal immigrant farmers and croppers on the lands to allow those lands to flourish with all different types of crops, fruit, and meat. “

He has been a master plumber and gas fitter for over 46 years.

GOP Spent More On Flowers Than Voter Files

GOP Spent More On Flowers Than Voter FilesJennifer Van Laar revealed on RedState.com that the Democrat National Committee spent $156,900, 327.28 between Oct. 20, 2022 and Nov. 30, 2023 while the Republican National Committee spent 128,735,489.96.

Fine.

It’s not that big a difference.

Maybe the RNC spent smarter.

Well, no. That’s where it’s not so fine.

The Rs spent $1.078 million on management consulting vs $114,000 to the Ds; $116,341.27 on media booking consultants compared to nothing for the Ds; $263,127.25 on limos compared to $7k for the Ds; and, wait for it, $70,328 for floral arrangements compared to $795 for the Ds.

The Ds, on the other hand, spent $235,865.88 on voter file maintenance compared to $39,233.5 for the Rs; and $1,676,923.29 for “get out the vote” texting compared to $86,019 for the Rs.

They also gave $23,835,437 to state parties compared to $13,800,200 for the Rs.

Yes, the Republicans spent more on floral arrangements than on voter file maintenace.

Ronna McDaniel has got to go. If she won’t resign as national GOP chairwoman, she should be coerced to quit. They can give her some flowers and a ride in a limo on the way out.

Donna Ellingsen Also In Delegate Race

Donna Ellingsen Also In Delegate Race — We just heard from good friend Donna Ellingsen that she is also running for delegate for the Republican National Convention from Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District.

Top three vote-getters attend.

Donna won in 2020 — as did Bunny Welsh and Deborah Abel, who are also running this year — but was unable to attend due to Covid restrictions.

Also running this year is Brian Yanoviak, who is fighting for election transparency and was the 2023 GOP candidate for Chesco Recorder of Deeds.

There may be other candidates.

The election matters as the elector must be expected to stay true to the people’s choice when casting the vote for the nomination especially if it goes beyond a second round.

We are confident that the four mentioned will stay true.

AG And Congressional Candidates Attend Chesco Petition Party

AG And Congressional Candidates Attend Chesco Petition Party — Bunny Welsh hosted a meet-and-greet petition-signing party at her Chadds Ford home, last night, Jan. 31 with appearances by Republican-endorsed Attorney General candidate Dave Sunday and 6th District congressional candidate Neil Young.

The impressions both men made were great.

Sunday is the York County district attorney who refused then Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s demand to prosecute businesses that ignored the state- mandate to close during Covid.

He noted that the drug crisis is the worst in memory and blamed it on fentanyl. He said the open border allows the cartels to push it through almost at will. Sunday said that a young person was far, far, far more likely to have survived temporary stupidity with the drugs of decades past than today with fentanyl.

Regarding criminal justice, he said punishment is necessary but mercy must be included. Sunday said that only 8 percent of convicts return to prison who find work upon release. About half of those that don’t end up back behind bars.

Sunday has developed a successful job program with York County manufacturers — including Harley-Davidson — which provide decent paying jobs for former inmates.

Former Delco DA Kat Copeland has dropped out of the AG race and has endorsed Sunday. State Rep. Craig Williams, however, is still reportedly circulating petitions.

Sunday is a veteran of the US Navy.

Neil Young is a teacher who poked fun at his famous name. His issues included education and the border.

Yes, he can unseat the incumbent Democrat. The 6th District is Chester County with a portion of Berks County.

The primary election is April 23.
