Wolf Funding State Races In Hopes For Mutton Meals — Elaine Mickman has let us know that Tom Wolf, one of America’s worst governors, has pumped $1.3 million into state legislative races this year in an attempt to achieve a neo-feudal majority.

Jenn O’Mara Birthday Greeting

Jenn O’Mara Birthday Greeting –– A few days ago was my birthday, and in the evening I got a call from my state rep Jenn O’Mara wishing me a happy one. At first I thought it was a robo but as the conversation continued I realized it was live.

Jenn O'Mara Birthday Greeting
Thank you, Jenn O’Mara

I was impressed. Granted, if my birthday was in June and this was an off-year election perhaps I wouldn’t have been so honored but I was still impressed.

So thank you Jenn, you made my night. I will be voting straight R, Nov. 3, which means for Bob Smythe in Pennsylvania’s 165th House District but what you did was very nice and you seem like a nice person.

If you want to get my vote push for ending prevailing wage. It would have made the cost of Springfield’s new white elephant high school about 20 percent less. Single parents, newlyweds with diabetic kids and the elderly are paying for it you know, and the extra money doesn’t help the trades unless you happen to be the one running the union.

Don’t sweat it though. I doubt Smythe will try to end it either.

Bob Smythe Gets Business Nod

From the Bob Smythe campaign

Bob Smythe Gets Business Nod — Bob Smythe, a K-12 teacher and volunteer firefighter who is running for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 165th Legislative District, has received the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), a statewide organization that advocates for small businesses.  Earlier this month, Smythe earned the endorsement of another statewide business group, the PA Chamber PAC, the political advocacy arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.

Smythe’s opponent, incumbent State Representative Jenn O’Mara, earned a dismal voting record from the NFIB, scoring just 20 percent due to her repeated opposition to legislation designed to help small businesses, which are the driving force behind Pennsylvania and our local economy.

“It’s clear that Bob Smythe shares our vision that a healthy small-business jobs climate can best be achieved through lower taxes, less wasteful state spending and less government regulation,” said Gordon R. Denlinger, State Director of NFIB/Pennsylvania.  “Smythe recognizes that small businesses are the driving force behind Pennsylvania’s economy — producing high-quality products, services, and jobs. And it’s also apparent that Bob has a clear understanding of the problems and challenges facing small-business owners in Pennsylvania.”

“I am honored to have the endorsement and support of Pennsylvania’s small business community,” said Bob Smythe. “As our nation and state continue efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 and protect our vulnerable citizens, we must begin to identify how we will support the countless small businesses in our local communities that have been devastated by the virus,” said Bob Smythe.  “The negative impacts on small business owners – who employ so many of our friends, neighbors, and family members – will be felt for years to come.  As we begin the economic recovery process, we need elected officials who will put the needs of our communities ahead of their blind loyalty to leaders of their political party.”

NFIB cited a number of anti-business votes by Representative O’Mara, including votes related to Governor Wolf’s widespread shutdown of small businesses that he categorized as non-essential while allowing large box stores to remain open for businesses. For example, NFIB cited O’Mara’s opposition to HB 2376 in late-April.

The legislation would have permitted some small businesses to re-open if they only had one employee and only allowed one shopper into a store at a time or provided contactless, curbside pickup.  Representative Brad Roae noted that under his legislation, which O’Mara opposed and was later vetoed by Governor Tom Wolf, “Pennsylvanians could shop at small stores with one worker and no other customers, rather than going to large grocery chains or big box stores with dozens of workers and hundreds of customers.”

NFIB also faulted O’Mara for her vote against SB 613, which would have require the governor to create clear safety guidelines that businesses would be required to meet before they were permitted to reopen.  Those guidelines – which would need to be based on guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – would have provided a clear framework and safety standards that businesses would have to put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 before they could safely re-open.  Although the legislation was approved by both the Pennsylvania House and Senate, it was again vetoed by Governor Tom Wolf.

“These were not reckless bills that endangered the health of the public,” said Smythe.  “These were bills that sought to find areas of compromise and implement common sense measures that mitigated the spread of the virus while allowing small business to reopen and compete with large box and chain stores.  These were bills that earned widespread support from local residents, yet O’Mara opposed them and justified her votes with scare tactics by falsely claiming they endangered residents.”

“As a history teacher, I feel very strongly that a good State Representative should do just that – represent the people of their district,” said Smythe.  “But time and time again, Jenn O’Mara’s votes in the legislature don’t reflect the values and opinions of residents. She votes the way her party leadership wants her to vote, not the way residents want her to vote.  If I am elected to be out next State Representative, my votes will reflect the views and values of local residents, even if it puts me at odds with the leadership of my party. Because that’s how our representative form of government – our democracy – should work.”

Chicom Flu Question Of The Day

Chicom Flu Question Of The Day — The President and our wonderful First Lady Melania have been diagnosed with Covid-19 — or as we like to refer to it the Chicom Flu.

Nothing racist about Chicom is there? People’s Republic Plague also works, for what it’s worth.

Now here’s the question of the day: If the President in his quarantine doesn’t “put a lid” on his campaign how does Vice President Biden — or as we like to call him, Chicom Joe — respond?

The President and Melania are in the prayers of all decent people. The Chicom Flu is no a hoax and the President never said it was.

Trump Ballots Discarded In Luzerne County

Trump Ballots Discarded In Luzerne County — If you missed as is likely, the United States Attorney’s Office Middle District of Pennsylvania released this statement, today, Sept. 24.

On Monday, September 21, 2020, at the request of Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis, the Office of the United States Attorney along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Scranton Resident Office, began an inquiry into reports of potential issues with a small number of mail-in ballots at the Luzerne County Board of Elections.

Since Monday, FBI personnel working together with the Pennsylvania State Police have conducted numerous interviews and recovered and reviewed certain physical evidence.  Election officials in Luzerne County have been cooperative. At this point we can confirm that a small number of military ballots were discarded.   Investigators have recovered nine ballots at this time.  Some of those ballots can be attributed to specific voters and some cannot.  Of the nine ballots that were discarded and then recovered, 7 were cast for presidential candidate Donald Trump. Two of the discarded ballots had been resealed inside their appropriate envelopes by Luzerne elections staff prior to recovery by the FBI and the contents of those 2 ballots are unknown.

Our inquiry remains ongoing and we expect later today to share our up to date findings with officials in Luzerne County.  It is the vital duty of government to ensure that every properly cast vote is counted.

Vote in person. Even the Democrats are saying this now.

Vote In Person; Don’t Trust The Mail Reprise

Vote In Person; Don’t Trust The Mail Reprise

By Pauline Braccio

My article from Sept. 10 left some confusion. My view that you should not trust the mail and vote in person hasn’t changed but let me clarify.

Here are the new rules concerning mail-in ballots:

If you apply for a mail-in ballot, your name gets put on a list when it is sent out to you. When you receive it, if you change your mind, DO NOT throw it out! You must bring the BLANK mail-in ballot and the ENVELOPE to your polling location and turn it in. Only then will you receive a regular ballot that will then be scanned.

If you marked the ballot, you can bring it in, but you will vote by provisional ballot that is not scanned.

If you applied for a ballot, but did not receive it, you can come to vote in person, but will receive a provisional ballot that is not scanned.

Oct. 27, is the deadline for applications to be received by Voter Services. Not post-marked by that date. It actually has to be at Voter Services by that date. Please, if you are sure you want a mail-in ballot do it well before the deadline. The ballots get mailed out after the end of September. So there is a very narrow window for filling it out and getting it back.

Bottom line: Don’t apply for a mail-in ballot. It is not efficient. We still don’t know that the Postal Service will be able to handle it. I paid for Priority Mail on Sept. 16, and it still has not been delivered. Another person told me she sent a birthday card to her nephew in New Jersey on Sept. 12, and here we are 9 days later, and her nephew has not received it still.

And then there is this matter about what happened in Sussex County, New Jersey: https://www.dailywire.com/news/more-than-1600-new-jersey-primary-ballots-found-in-misplaced-bin-2-months-later

If you have questions about your ballot, i.e. you want to know the status of your application, call 610-278-3275, Voters Service. The recorded message will tell you how to find the answer to your question.

Pennsylvania Court Kicks Greens Off Ballot

Pennsylvania Court Kicks Greens Off Ballot — The Democrat Party minions on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Sept. 16, kicked Green Party presidential candidate Howie Hawkins off the Nov. 3 ballot citing a paperwork error.

Repeat: The judges decided that a paperwork error was enough to throw a guy off the ballot; a guy whose supporters spent hours acquiring the appropriate amount of signatures.

The vote, which overturned a lower court ruling, was 5-2 with only the Republicans dissenting. Not saying the GOP motivations were noble but they were in the right if you believe in honest interpretation of the law, representative government and citizen leaders.

Actually, we remember when a citizen activist got shafted by the court when the Republicans controlled it.

It is beyond apparent that our courts are entirely about politics and the judges don’t give a fig about justice or the rule of law.

Anyway, Bob Small, a Green Party activist from Swarthmore, wrote a poem about the matter which we are publishing.

It should strike a little fear into any Democrat with brains. You know, Donald Trump is probably more of a Green than Joe Biden, at least when it comes to military intervention and trade. Even foreign labor. The USMCA did give Mexican autoworkers a nice raise, you know.

Bob’s poem:

Explain to me
again
why I should vote for the Party that knocked my Party off the Presidential Ballot

Explain to me
why I should vote
against 45
and for –
even though I can only vote for HH
by a write in

Explain to me
how this election
is any different
is any different
from any election since at least 1968 in terms of choice
in terms of choice

Explain to me
how I should hold my nose
and vote for a guy named joe
and maybe next election-
I don’t believe
there’s any explanation this time just like there wasn’t any last time any of the last times
from casey to biden and before

Every other country
even included one named Russia
has alternative Parties on the ballot except- Explain that to me.

And here is the official Green Party press release:

HARRISBURG, PA – In the greatest act of voter suppression since Jim Crow legislation, the Democratic Party has disenfranchised 9 million voters in the Commonwealth by using an amendable paperwork error to remove Howie Hawkins from the Pennsylvania General Election ballot in November.

State election officials informed Green Party officers that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, submission of affidavits by fax copy to the Bureau of Elections, which offices were closed due to the pandemic, would be acceptable.

The Democrats failed at two other attempts to defeat democracy in the Keystone State, including a red herring challenge to the 8,500 signatures collected by the GPPA during the pandemic.  The Democrats falsely claimed the signatures were illegible but dropped the challenge when a simple check of the registered voters’ database demonstrated their deceit.

Not satisfied, the Democrats doubled down their attack by appealing a lower court decision allowing the Green Party candidates to appear on the ballot, to the PA Supreme Court which as a 5 – 2 majority of Democratic Party Judges.

The Democrats claimed that the fax copy violated procedure and thereby made the Green Party candidate ineligible.  In the dissenting opinion, it was made clear that this was an amendable situation and should not bar the Green Party from the November election.    The five Democratic Party judges disagreed.

There are two ways to defeat democracy, one way is by preventing citizens from voting, and the other is by preventing worthy candidates from appearing on the ballot. When the law can be used as a subterranean tool in a process which can only be labeled “political profiling” the meaning and the intent of the law is subverted as is the democracy from which those laws were supposed to have sprung.

Rosenbaum Raped Five Boys; Good Shooting Kyle Rittenhouse

Rosenbaum Raped Five Boys; Good Shooting Kyle Rittenhouse — We’ve noted the injustice in the first degree murder charge levied against 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse for shooting three thugs in self defense on Aug. 25 during the sedition in Kenosha, Wis. While we reported the violent nature of deceased felons Joseph D Rosenbaum and Anthony M. Huber, we actually underplayed how bad Rosenbaum was.

The “social justice” hero’s crimes were the rapes of five different boys as discovered by the Kenosha Record.

The charges should not just be dropped against Kyle, the boy should be given a medal.

We also never reported that the gunman Kyle wounded, Gaige Grosskreutz, was also a felon with a burglary conviction.

It’s safe to say that when all shot turn out to be felons, the event is not a peaceful protest for racial justice.

And sorry for sounding paranoid but its looking more and more that the violence is organized — note that the link is from a year ago — and there is a serious attempt to undermine the vote. Why would the Democrat governors like Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer and Pennsylvania’s Tom Wolf push to ignore state law and let ballots be accepted after Election Day? Why would judges support them?

If people can’t figure out how to vote in the next 44 days, they don’t want to vote. The deadline should be held sacred by those who recognize the importance of social order and peaceful change of government.

It’s obviously not.

This is not a partisan thing. There are Democrats who love the Constitution and are fighting to avoid the upcoming turmoil. There are Republicans who want your money to keep flowing to D.C. and Silicon Valley and Wall Street and their pockets.

Yes, we dare call it sedition and say the names of Norm Eisen and George Soros.

Ugliness awaits.

Republican Workers Shot In Minneapolis Drive-by

Republican Workers Shot In Minneapolis Drive-by –Diontae Rayquan Wallace and Andre Conley, campaign workers for Republican congressional candidate Lacy Johnson, were shot in a drive-by shooting, Sept. 14, in Minneapolis.

Andre Conley

Conley died in the hospital.

Johnson is seeking to unseat radical Jew-hating Muslim Democrat Ilhan Omar in Minnesota’s 5th District.

The Johnson campaign does not think the shootings were politically motivated. Nine people under the age of 18 have been shot in the city this year.

Just the same, we’ll reserve judgement until an arrest.

Bernell Trammell, 60, a Black supporter of Donald Trump, was shot in the street in Milwaukee on July 23.

Hey Minneapolis, how is the defunding the police thing working for you?

Aqua Backing Carolyn Comitta

Aqua Backing Carolyn Comitta — Carolyn Comitta, who is seeking to replace fellow Democrat Andy Dinniman to represent the 19th District in the Pennsylvania Senate, is backed by Aqua America.

The Bryn Mawr-based, now-national water company that once called itself Springfield Water Co. and the Philadelphia Suburban Water Co. but now calls itself Essential Utilities gave a grand to Carolyn in April. Wonder why they want her to win.

Could it have anything to do with their lust for the locally owned Chester Water Authority?

Guess we know where Carolyn, who now represents the 156th District in the State House, comes down on the matter.

Hey did you see where Aqua — excuse us Essential Utilities — is making beaucoup bucks supplying water to frackers in the Marcellus Shale? Not that we have any problem with it but we kind of wonder how much that warms the hearts of Dinniman’s voters.
